मॉडल एक्ट्रेस पूनम दुबे को कोलकाता में सम्पन्न हुए स्क्रीन एंड स्टेज भोजपुरी सिने अवार्ड में बेस्ट एक्ट्रेस इन सपोर्टिंग रोल के अवार्ड से नवाजा गया । उन्हें यह अवार्ड भाजपा सांसद और भोजपुरी के आइकॉन मनोज तिवारी के हाथों प्रदान किया गया ।साल 2017 में रिलीज हुई पूनम की फ़िल्म रंगीला में उनके उत्कृष्ट अभिनय के लिए यह अवार्ड दिया गया । अवार्ड पाने के बाद पूनम ने खुशी जताते हुए कहा कि उन्होंने अपने कैरियर की शुरुआत मनोज तिवारी के साथ ही कि थी और अब उन्ही के हाथों अवार्ड पाने पर उन्हें काफी खुशी हो रही है ।

फ़िल्म एक्ट्रेस पाखी हेगड़े ने लगभग एक वर्ष पूर्व ही अपने मैनेजर रवि प्रभाकर कन्हैया को अपने कंपनी से निष्कासित कर चुकी है, पर फिल्म इंडस्ट्री में ऐसी खबर आ रही है, की रवि अभी भी पाखी की तरफ से लोगो से संपर्क करते हुए अपने आपको पाखी का मैनेजर बताता है।

इसलिए पाखी हेगड़े तमाम लोगों को सूचित करती है कि, रवि प्रभाकर कन्हैया से उसका कोई लेना देना नही है, और नाही रवि का उससे या उसकी प्रोडक्शन कंपनी से कोई संबंध है। इसलिए पाखी हेगड़े के लिए अगर किसीने रवि से कोई भी डील किया तो वह स्वयं जिम्मेदार होगा।
