Care of the care taker #Selfie With Police, a initiative SELFIE DRIVE of 2b! India starts with a bang from Oshiwara Police Station on 26th January 2016....

2B!  India,’s First public program SELFIE WITH POLICE “Care of the Caretaker” took a great start on 26th January 2016, at Oshiwara Police Station with near about hundreds of  people clicking selfiee and showing their support.

on the eve of Republic Day after flag hosting, everyone were  seeing  getting Selfie  clicked with Police. Shweta Rohira CEO of 2B!  India was overwhelmed by response of people who were coming themselves to get clicked. It is an awareness drive to strengthen Police Public Relationship.

Previously the event was supposed to be held at Shivaji Park, but being a sensitive high alert zone, the venue for the program was shifted to Oshiwara Police Station

Shweta Rohira CEO of 2B! India said  when she saw that at midnight, police were checking youngsters whether they were drunken or not, and the police were doing there work to check  the youngsters , the response  of the youngsters were rude reactions, this incident gave her a thought to start a mission where a relation has to be buil between Police-Public, so that a healthy safe society is created.

This mission has started today from Oshiwara PS,
And moved across mumbai on many locations like Juhu,Santacruz, Bandra , Mahim , Dadar , Worli , Chowtapatty , and ended at Marin drive.
2b india CEO shweta Rohira says that this will continue  in different locations in mumbai and slowly also to different cities.  throughout India.

 
Shweta Rohira after seeing the tremendous  response she is over whelmed , today the selfie that are trending are above 20,000 and still  going on.
She is thankful to Mumbaikars and the police to share her thought and join hands in this movement .
This is an endeavor in improving and strengthening Police- Public Relationship. A mission to build a bridge of trust, compassion and respect that  enables citizens and law enforcement agencies to communicate, collaborate and work together to build safer, more caring society and nation. To help participants understand the importance of healthy communicative relationship between society and law enforcement agencies.

A step to create awareness in kids and youngsters of society the importance of police and policing. Last but not the least building Police image to strengthen Police – Public relationships.

“Selfie with Police” is organized by 2B! India, an initiative step taken by Shweta Rohira, many police officers are also participating along with common public. Selfie standees will be placed where volunteers will be helping public to have selfie with police, which will be uploaded on various social media like websites, facebook, twitter, pinterest & instagram, radio, print etc. Approximately having 1.7 Million viewership. The extravaganza took place at one the plush auditoriums of suburbs suitable for the gala. The award ceremony commenced by capturing the essence of the Indian Rituals by lighting the auspicious lamp as a favorable start and sign of future success for the evening.
The “22nd Lions Gold Awards” was anchored by the very charismatic Siddharth Kannan & Aafreen Vaz who spinned his magic and kept the audience engaged with his wit, energy & charm. Apart from Siddharth’s anchoring the extravaganza also witnessed captivating performance of effervescent & charming troupe performing on Ganesh Vandana seeking blessings and dancing away.
Adding to the merriment the evening witnessed engaging performances which included Akshat Singh who caught the attention of the audience with his electrifying dance moves. Setting the tone for the evening one of the most loved dancing duo Sonali & Sumanth performed and flaunted their moves keeping the crowd entertained.
Holding a penchant for fashion, designer Rohit Verma spinned his magic setting the color wheels in motion in Royal shades. The attendees were left wowed by the models walking the catwalk with inspiring creative colors and stunning styles at the much awaited “22nd Lions Gold Awards”.   Rohit Verma’s collection offered a slew of sartorial designs glorifying the theme tulsi in his designs. A true Indian at heart designer, Rohit Verma incorporated luxurious Indian fabrics, color, and texture in his designs with Nisha Rawal and karan as show stoppers
In the arena of professional dancers, we had our very own “Super Star”- Sandip Soparrkar who grooved the tunes of salsa.
The award show paid a tribute to the legendary directorMr.Subhash Ghai fondly known as “The Showman”. The performance made the audience walk down the memory lane by highlighting the essence of his filmography.
Vilas Nayak, who has triumph upon the hearts of the nation with his speed painting, exhibited his talent spreading the message about clean India. And surprised Ranveer Singh by making his portrait in two mins The stage seemed to be the hub of talents with a brave display of martial arts. In keeping with the theme of the evening “Swachh Bharat- Clean India” the event ended with Savy dance group’s performance.

Jagjit Singh Music Festival…‏

Jagjit Singh Foundation in association with Perfect Harmony Productions Pvt. Ltd. announces “Jagjit Singh Music Festival”. A never before, two day music festival to celebrate the 75th Birth Anniversary of“The King Of Ghazal” Jagjit Singh.

“Music in the soul can be heard by the universe”

Padma Bhushan Jagjit Singh had it not just in his voice, but in his soul. That’s why his music touched the whole universe. Although he is physically not present among us today, but his mesmerizing voice still lingers in our hearts and minds with the same charisma.

Year 2016 happens to be the 75th Birthday of the maestro Jagjit Singh. To make the celebrations grand for this Platinum Jubilee, a two day music festival has been announced.

DAY 1 – 7^th Feb. 2016

Young ghazal singers will be invited from all over India by virtue of their recordings. The registrations have started. Top 25 singers will be shortlisted by our esteemed panel of jury including  JANAB NIDA FAZLI, Smt. CHITRA SINGH, Chairperson, Jagjit Singh Foundation, Shri. SURESH WADKAR and Shri ROOP KUMAR RATHOD.

These chosen aspiring singers will perform in Mumbai on 7^th Feb. 2016 at Ajivasan. The day will feature 3 ghazals sung by each singer from 11am till evening. A total of 75 ghazals of Jagjit Singh will be sung. At the end of the day session all the participants will be honoured by the Smt. Chitra Singh and they will be given certificates from Jagjit Singh foundation.

This will lead to enormous enthusiasm among young Ghazal singers to take up ghazal as art form and spread it around the world.

DAY 2 – 8^th Feb. 2016

Day 2 will be the Grand Celebration in the form of ‘Jagjit Singh Musical Festival’ attended by who’s who of the music fraternity. This will be a public event featuring performances by legends. The line up includesDeepak Pandit and Ranjit Barot giving a musical invocation of 10 minutes to the commencement of the festival, followed by Ghazal Maestro Shri Hari Haran regaining the audience for 45 minutes with his own unique ghazals and then Shri Suresh Wadkar and Shri Sonu Nigam would give unique rendition of Jagjit ji’s compositions in their own imitable style to relive the memories of maestro’s real music.

The second half will showcase a unique combination titled “Tridhara” which will premier on the occasion.  This will feature three streams of art namely Taal Sur & Nritya together  featuring Padma Bhusan Ustad Zakir Hussain, Padma Vibhusan Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia and Padma Vibhusan Pandit Birju Maharaj.
