Hindi Film “Honeymoonay Namah” Is Ready For Release After Winning Several National & International Awards Like Its Title, The Film’s Story Is Also Unique & Interesting...

Mumbai. Bollywood is currently competing to create content cinema and out-of-the-box films. Honeymoonay Namah is one such film, not only unique in its title but also boasts an interesting story. “Honeymoonay Namah” is a satirical film that attempts to expose the political opportunism prevalent in society and the simplistic thinking of the public through humor.

Produced under the banner of Shivakshay Entertainment in association with Navankur Films, the film is produced by Akshay Bafila and Akshay Desai, and directed by Nishant Bhardwaj. The film is co-produced by Dhruv Rathod, Bhaskar Pethshali, and Hemlata Bhardwaj. The film’s cast includes Akshay Bafila, Sonam Thakur, Hemlata Bhardwaj, Nishant Bhardwaj, Meenakshi, Deepak Gupta, Kamal Kishore Tiwari, D.S. Sijwali (Sonu), Alok Verma, Rajan Puri, Mohit Sharma, Jeet Jangid, Rajendra Goswami, Lalit Pant, Aman Singh Rathore, Shyam Lal Sharma, Deepak Tiruva, Kinshuk Pandey, Anjali Pareekh, Anuj Kumar, Mohit Tiwari, Bhaskar Pethshali, Jaswant Bafila, Indrajit Bafila, Heena Bafila, Arvind Bhatnagar, Amarnath Singh Negi, Naresh Bisht, Pankat Karki, Geeta Bisht, Chandraprakash Tatrari, Kailash Chanyal, and Vinod Kumar. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Nishant Bhardwaj, and the music and background score are by Akshay Bafila. The film features several lovely songs that advance the story, including a folk song from Uttarakhand.

The film tells the story of Mona, the son of a farmer from Uttarakhand, who is engaged to marry Varsha, a girl from a neighboring village. He invites his friend, who lives in America, to the wedding. The friend, expressing his inability to attend, advises Mona on a proper honeymoon ceremony. Before Mona can ask for more details about the honeymoon, the call is disconnected due to network failure. Mona faces a problem: what exactly is this “honeymoon ritual,” and how is it celebrated? Not even his friends know; no one in the village knows about it. When word reaches Mona’s mother, the situation has changed even more. Upon asking the priest, it is revealed that he too has no idea about the ritual. What should be done now? The news reaches the bride’s family. They realize that if the groom’s honeymoon ceremony is not performed, the bride’s mother could die after the wedding, so they refuse to go ahead with the wedding. A Panchayat is convened, but even in the Panchayat, no one is aware of the ritual. Everyone begins discussing it in their own way. The honeymoon ritual becomes an issue for the entire state. Taking advantage of this, the Parampra Party nominates Mona’s father as an MLA candidate, and the Secular Party nominates Varsha’s father as its candidate. Mona is upset because the topic of the wedding is completely lost in the chaos. The film unfolds through many interesting and funny moments, showcasing various aspects of our society through comedy. It depicts the traditional thinking, superstition, and innocence prevalent in our society.

The film’s executive producer is Lalit Kohli, editor is Jeet Singh Mehta, and DOP is Parth Joshi/Cinemo Sunny.
