Filmmaker Aparana S Hosing took the social media on Wednesday to release first look poster of his film ‘Kaanbhatt’. The poster of Kaanbhatt had a surprise element as the lead actor Bhavya Shinde stunned everyone with his look.

Acclaimed Producer Aparana S Hosing, who has been working in Bollywood from last 9 years and was the Producer for films like ‘Jeena Hai Toh Thok Daal’, ‘Uttpattang’ and ‘Dassehra’ (Staring Neil Nitin Mukesh), will be debuting as a director with this Marathi movie. Mrs. Hosing says, “The Marathi cinema is setting new benchmarks. This film talks and portrays a story of a young boy about his dream and desire but destiny has something else for him for which he went on a different path. The story depict relationship between Ved and Science. This is style of film”.

It was a special birthday for singer Hrishikesh Chury, who is part of the grand jury on the musical reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il champs. Though he had a working birthday on April 23, Hrishikesh was in for a surprise when judges Shaan, Richa Sharma, Amaal Mallik, host Ravi Dubey, little contestants and his co- Juries celebrated his special day on the show’s set post pack-up. Noted playback singer Guru Randhawa also wished him on the sets.

Hrishikesh, who has rendered songs in films like Housefull 3 and Tera Interzaar, among others, cut a huge cake with his friends from the music fraternity.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday. Though I was not with my family, it felt like home on the sets of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs. Besides having a cake-cutting ceremony, I was also blessed to receive the love that everyone showered on me. While Amaal gave me the warmest hug possible, Shaan da, Ravi Dubey and Richa di made sure I had cake on my face. This birthday was memorable, indeed,” says Hrishikesh, who made a hat-trick on the show this year by being part of the grand jury for the third consecutive year.

Being Late Is None Of Daisy’s Business

It’s a norm for audiences finding out stories of actors and stars being late on the sets for the shoot but lately a story of something completely contrasting to this took place. Recently a sequence of Gujarati film Gujarat 11 starring Daisy Shah was being shot in Mumbai and the whole team of the movie were shaken when they saw a dedicated and determined Daisy already practicing on the football field for her character that plays a football coach.

People in Gujarat are known for being punctual and thus the team of Gujarat 11 made sure that the whole crew and the cast were on time. Daisy who’s a Gujarati herself surprised everyone by being on the sets of her shoot prior to everyone else training with her football coach.

“Earlier when we saw Daisy arrived and training before even anyone of us reached on the first day of the shoot we were very surprised. But what fascinated us, even more, as this was not just a one-day phenomenon, she was always the first on the sets and her dedication towards the r ole and the film was applaudable.” said one of the crew members of Gujarat 11.

In ‘Gujarat 11’, Daisy will be seen enacting a football coach who builds a football team consisting of kids from juvenile homes and leads them to glory. The film is being shot in different parts of Mumbai and Gujarat and is directed by Chalk and Duster and Natsamrat fame director Jayant Gilatar.

Laxmikant Pyarelal Utsav Was A Massive Success

The fans of Laxmikant-Pyarelal were in for a treat when their God, the living legend Pyarelalji himself took the stage and performed the evergreen numbers of Laxmikant Pyarelal. The event was presented by Anil Bohra and Datta Salunke in aid of Kiran Foundation. Ashok Khandelkar and Naggesh Kumar designed the concept and produced the show. Another legend Ameen Sayani ji was the Chief Guest of the event along with Manek Premchand who was the Guest of Honor.

Veteran singer Suresh Wadkar performed the classics of Laxmikant Pyarelal along with his talented bunch of singers like Sarrika Singh, Sanjeev Chimmalgi, Mohd. Salamat and Alok Katdare. The lovely musical was scripted and compered by Dr. Mrudula Dadhe-Joshi.

The run that had 3 categories – 8km, 5km and 3km, was flagged off at 6.30 am from Mumbai Selfie Point by model and actress Zoya Afroz.

A Fashionably Forward Extravaganza! Designer Students Of INIFD Borivali Showcase Their Designs At Layer’M 2019...

Mumbai’s biggest fashion and creative institute INIFD Borivali showcased designs by their Designer Students in the first edition of their fashion show calledLayer’M 2019. The fashion extravaganza saw esteemed dignitaries from the world of fashion and design such as Mr. Ashley Rebello, Mr. Kawaljeet Singh, Mr. Salim Asgarally, Mr. Ken Ferns, Mrs. Bhamini Subramanyam, Dr. Vaibhavi Ranavade, Ms.Manjula Jagatramka and many others,attend the event.

Layer of a fabric has always been an inseparable part of human life in all the Civilizations all over the world. The journey of layering starts straight from the birth up to the end of human life. Hence, fashion, being the culmination of various creative layers, has become a vibrant phenomenon in our lifestyle. The theme for Layer’M 2019 is Aurora – Northern Lights. Aurora also known as polar lights or northern lights is a natural display of lights seen in higher latitudes created due to charged particles combined by solar winds. The beautifully lit display of colours is chosenas the theme for the year to illustrate different layers and shades of colours thatthe event brings for the audience.

The collection was showcased in three different shows – Kids collection, Adult collection and the finale show featured the Best of INIFD Borivali.

Show 1 – Kids Collection –

Seven collections for kids was showcased in this show. Round 1 was the high end sportswear by designers Jagriti Gehlot,Raina Shah, Riddhi Savla, Raieya Noor andSony Singh. Round 2 drove an inspiration from land of fairies by designersSameeksha Poojari, Dhanvi Solanki, Jagriti Gehlot, Drashti Jasani, Janvi Shah, Dhwanil Vora, Jinesh Tailor and Hinal Shah. Collection in Round 3 was party wear by designers JYOTI Sihag and SARITHA VEERABOHINA.

Round 4 was called Ziddi Tribes by designer Khushboo Saboo. This funky casual wear for kids is inspired from the super magical unicorns. This highly energetic designs are created in those pinks blues and tinch of yellows. The print used in the collection is customized by the designer herself. This collection was presented in associated with NGO kids. Dongri to Degree, a social initiative by the youth of our society, was started by a bunch of college students at the time, in Borivali. They came together with an idea and a hope to do their small part in the betterment of the society that we live in.

Round 5 was inspired from the mysteries of the fairy land by designers Hetvi Vora,Heena Khan, Pranita Jain, Ruchi Gupta,Vrushi Doshi, Riddhi Shah. Round 6 collection was playful and appropriate for the summer season for live-O-holic millennials by designers Hetvi Vora,Ranjana Singh, Jinesh Tailor, Khushboo Dayya and Kruti Shah. The seventh and final round in Kids category celebrated twinning by designers Priyal Shah, Krina Mehta, Dhwanil Vora, Heena Khan, Hinal Shah, Ruchi Gupta, Janvi Shah, Debolina Biswas and Sayli Chavan.

Show 2 – Adults Collection –

This show again had seven different collections showcased in seven different rounds. Round was informal wear inspired by the derby of 20th century by designersHiral Kubadia, Monali Kakkad and Akshita Furia. Round 2 collection wascontemporary wear designed in soft colours by designer Rajvi Savla. Round 3 collection was all about whilrs and Twirls by designers Komal Jadhav, Neel Modyand Krishna Shah. Round 4 collection was casual wear with use of denims and organza material by designers Sameeksha Poojari, Dhanvi Solanki, Drashti Jasani,Prapti Datta, Dhwani Darji and Dishika Kothari. Round 5 collection was inspired by the warmth of the sun by designersAishwarya Katariya, Samantha Ferreira, Pranita Jain and Vrushi Doshi. Round 6 collection was by the talented lot who have made their mark on the globe like GENNEXT@LFW and Asian Designer’s Week and their palette was inspired by Gemstone Colors. The designers werePreksha Mehta, Khushboo Saboo, Ayushi Agarwal and Richa Shah. And Round 7 collection was a fusion saree collection by designer Richa Shah.

Show 3 – The Best of INIFD Borivali –

The final show of the evening showcased 7 best collections of INIFD Borivali. Round 1was formal and corporate wear by designers Anupama Dhanuka, Nayla Shaikh, Menka Khushwaha, Osvita Vaz,Rakshanda Munshi, Manushi Jain, Umang Gala and Meet Shah. Round 2 collection was a flamboyant resort collection by designers Rinal Jain and Palak Dhakad.Round 3 was the dramatic fusion wear by designer Akil Daduji. Round 4 collection was fusion ethnic wear, focus being onsubtle and chic looks by designers Nupur Thirani, Ayushi Agarwal, Nidhi Rajpurohit,Arushi Shah. Round 5 collection wasinspired by Safari Resort with earthy colorsby designers Neelam Jain and Ruby Dogra.Round 6 was about evening wears inspired by the rays & shapes of PRISM by designers Nupura Ranadive, Khushboo Saboo, Saritha Veerabohina and Jyoti. The grand finale of Layer’M 2019 was designed with electrifying florescent colours & vibrant textures by designers Hardik Bamaniya, Neha Dhariwal, Pranay Kadam,Preksha Mehta and Sushant Tamang.

Composer Parivesh Singh, while talking to the media, said that single “Raanjhna” has a glimpse of Folk music, which also has Sufi touch. A story has been narrated in this music video, a theme based video that has also raised the issue of honour Killing. Along with the music of the single, its video will touch the hearts of listeners and audiences.

Prachi Bohra, who has been working in several web series, is very excited about this single. He said that the shooting in Rajasthan’s hot summer was a memorable one. Bhagyashree And Sandip Soparrkar Unveils India Dance Week Season 6 trophy...

Sandip Soparrkar hosted a press conference to announce dance associates, NGO tie ups and to unveil the trophy of India Fine Arts Council presents “India Dance Week – Dance for a Cause” season 6. Maine Pyar Kiya Actress Bhagyashree and Sandip Soparrkar came together to unveil the trophy of the dance festival which is in its 6th year now at Atrium 6 of Phoenix Market city, Kurla.

“India Dance Week – Dance for a Cause” is the first ever two day dance festival celebrated on International Dance Day in India (27-28th April), where varied dance forms be it Indian or International classical, Indian or international folk, Ballroom, Bollywood, Hip Hop or contemporary all come together on one single platform. Soparrkar announced that this year for the day one “India dance Week – Dance for a Cause” comes forward in support of the Indian Army and announced their association with The Fauji Foundation of India. The very beautiful actress Bhagyashree danced to her hit songs Kabutar Jaa Jaa and Dil Diwana Bin Sajana Ke Mane Nah from her super hit film Maine Pyaar Kiya and enthralled the audience with her grace and elegance, she later unveiled the trophy, cut the customary cake in the presence of Mr Haresh Mehta and Mr Rajesh Srivastav,  President and Vice President of India Fine Arts Council.

Tiger Shroff and Remo Dsouza who have been an ardent supporter of kickboxing were seen removing some time from their busy schedules and felicitating the Gold medal winner – Qasim Razauddin Ansari entered the Finals under the 54 kg category by defeating Hussain Alam from Bahrain and Sachin Abhimanyu Patil, who bagged silver medal under the 70 kg category. They also felicitated Ziauddin Khatib, the former 3 times unbeaten world champion and the president of IKBA, India’s premier Kickboxing Association. He was instrumental in ensuring the fighters get the best training and guidance and win on an international platform.

Syed Mudassar Ahmed won the bronze medal under the 85 kg category could not be present at the event.

On the celebratory occasion, Remo said, “ It’s indeed a matter of pride and something that should be celebrated across the nation and its indeed really nice to know that our boys have won gold, silver and bronze in three different categories. I really hope this becomes as big as the other celebrated sports in our country. A Band Of Boys release their new single Chhori on Times Music...

A Band of Boys’ are once again back with their latest song. Featuring Sherrin Varghese, Danny Fernandes, Chin2 Bhosle, and Karan Oberoi, the song titled ‘Chhori’ is a soulful melody which talks about strong affection and longing.

A Band Of Boys reunited in 2018 after a long gap, and left everybody stunned with their song ‘Yuhin Jalne Ko’. Despite the fabulous response from the audience, it took the band nearly 9 months to release their next composition – ‘Chhori’.

Clearing the air around this long gap, vocalist Karan Oberoi said, “All of us have had a great career. Thanks to the wonderful music, people, artists, management, partners and fans in our lives. So, this time when we were to release new material in such a voracious consumer market which is so different from the album/music video era that we were conceived in, we had to be extra careful in the planning, commissioning, writing and delivery of this fresh content that we would be releasing in this phase of our lives. International Street Children Day kicks off across India 800 street children hosted by Save the Children attend ‘Gully Boy’ screening in association with PVR Cinemas

Mumbai 12th April 2019: April 12th is International Day for Street Children: a special day recognising the strength and resilience of millions of street children around the world. Celebrated globally since 2012, it is an opportunity to recognise their humanity, dignity and rights in the face of unimaginable hardships. We want to rally governments and individuals worldwide to work together to ensure their rights are protected no matter who they are and where they live. Join us in our quest to recognize the potential in every street child.

To mark the International day for Street Children on 12th April, Save the Children and partners kicked off month long celebrations across 10 Cities today. A special screening of ‘Gully Boy’ was held in collaboration with PVR Cinemas at PVR, Oberoi Mall, Goregaon for street connected children from various parts of Mumbai. Along with this  special screening of ‘Gully Boy’ also held for 800 street connected children across Delhi, Kolkata and Lucknow to mark the occasion.

Zoya Akhtar, prominent filmmaker and screenwriter and director of Gully Boy expressed her happiness over the special screening of the movie for street connected children and said, “As a storyteller, it is gratifying to see how one story on the screen can tell the story of hundreds and thousands of voices waiting to be heard. There may be many more Murad’s and Safeena’s out there, each with a different dream and a different aspiration. A conversation on rights of street children between representatives from DCPCR and child advocates, former-street connected children will take place in Delhi.

International Street Children Day kicks off across India 800 street children hosted by Save the Children attend ‘Gully Boy’ screening in association with PVR Cinemas

Mumbai 12th April 2019: April 12th is International Day for Street Children: a special day recognising the strength and resilience of millions of street children around the world. Celebrated globally since 2012, it is an opportunity to recognise their humanity, dignity and rights in the face of unimaginable hardships. We want to rally governments and individuals worldwide to work together to ensure their rights are protected no matter who they are and where they live. Join us in our quest to recognise the potential in every street child.

To mark the International day for Street Children on 12th April, Save the Children and partners kicked off month long celebrations across 10 Cities today. A special screening of ‘Gully Boy’ was held in collaboration with PVR Cinemas at PVR, Oberoi Mall, Goregaon for street connected children from various parts of Mumbai. Along with this  special screening of ‘Gully Boy’ also held for 800 street connected children across Delhi, Kolkata and Lucknow to mark the occasion.

Zoya Akhtar, prominent filmmaker and screenwriter and director of Gully Boy expressed her happiness over the special screening of the movie for street connected children and said, “As a storyteller, it is gratifying to see how one story on the screen can tell the story of hundreds and thousands of voices waiting to be heard. There may be many more Murad’s and Safeena’s out there, each with a different dream and a different aspiration. I do hope that these street connected children watching the film can find their voice and raise it too.” #TheInvisibles, #IAmSomebody.

The celebrations will also include distribution of nearly 1000 pairs of shoes across all states to street connected children we are working with, donated by Sanspareils Greenlands (SG cricket) – India’s largest and most trusted cricket gear manufacturer. They have also provided complete cricket kits to Team India North who will represent India at the first ever Street Child Cricket World Cup (SCCWC 2019) to be played ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup at Lords, England in May.

As celebrations continue, in Kanpur, a district level cricket match is being held between children in street situation in collaboration with the South Club Cricket Academy on 12th April. The day will also be marked by activities with children in street situation at 30 hotspots in Mumbai, Pune and Nashik, which will include drawings, group discussions, poems and quotes that focus on their basic rights. A conversation on rights of street children between representatives from DCPCR and child advocates, former-street connected children will take place in Delhi.

#TheInvisibles initiative is garnering a lot of support from influencers and opinion leaders and corporates.

Notable film director, producer and screenwriter, Subhash Ghai said in a statement, “It is very painful to know that 20 lakh children live on the streets of India. They are denied basic rights and entitlements like food and shelter. I congratulate Save the Children and Salaam Balak Trust for their initiative. They are celebrating 12th April as the International Street Children Day. We must all get together and ensure basic rights for children on the streets. Because we must make the invisible children visible. We must ensure that they have an identity, the power to speak up and a future. It is our duty.”

Q1:How does it feel to receive the POPULAR QUEEN OF UNIVERSE 2019 title? Has the feeling sunk in yet?

Ans:-   To win the title of popular Queen of Universe 2019 makes me feel really proud and its like a dream come true to me, I don’t think there could be anything better than that. Also its very hard to believe in it, because at times I got back to the time where I was just in college and use to attend regular lectures and now I am here, it’s a complete new experience altogether. I really look forward to what happens next, and yeah the feeling hasn’t sunk yet, but soon will.

Q2 How did your friends and family react to your victory?

Ans:-  Coming from a small town,it was really an honour to be crowned “Popular Queen Of Universe 2019” and “Mrs India Pride Of Nation 2017” . My mother who has always stood by my side like a pillar and been there through all the thick and the thin of my life also a handful of my friends were really very happy rather than i was, they were even very much proud of me. The kind of love and support they had given me through this entire journey.

Q3:- Tell us about your journey from Allahabad to Mumbai in brief?   

Ans3 :-  It wasn’t easy coming from a small town and then adapting to the professional modern work culture but it definitely was a tough phase for me and it did bog me down at one point of time. I don’t regret what I’ve been through. I’ve had ups and downs, super highs and some really lows. I’ve been so blessed that I could never say. I wish this didn’t happen. It’s part of who I am. There’s nothing in my life that’s so faugh. I am fundamentally an optimist..

Q4:- Did you always want to be a beauty queen? If not then what plans did u have in mind?

Ans4:- I wouldn’t say I always wanted to become a beauty queen. It was definitely my dream to participate in all beauty contest and obviously win them all, In college rather i would say as a child I always understood one’s psychology and that’s where I always felt I belonged. And if not a beauty queen I would focus on becoming a Motivational trainer for today’s youth. Hence I even have achieved a PhD in Psychology.

Q5:-  I have learnt that you have trained many models and students that have reached a high peak in their lives, tell me something about that?

Ans 5:-  Yes, that’s true I have had many models and students who come to my institute that goes by the name Versatile Skills Development Pvt. Ltd. I always believe that sharing is caring and I love to share the skills and knowledge that I have acquired over the years through my experiences in this industry. And also as I have mentioned in one of the answers that if I had a plan B that I would become a Motivational trainer and that’s how I am fulfilling my dream by training youngsters and helping them to achieve success.

Q6 :- Any message to all the aspiring ladies who dream of winning such contest?

Ans6:-  Just believe in yourself, have faith in your capabilities also know your own limits, and work hard for it. Be a happy perosn inside, because I think that is most important. We should enjoy what we do and that’s what I have been doing so far and maybe that’s why I am here today. If anyone wants to come and experience this or explore themselves, I think they should come without the fear of rejection and give it a best shot, irrespective of what the results are and without having any kind of negative feelings. As I remember my mother always quoted “believe in yourself give it your best and leave the rest on God” she also states “The harder you work for something the greater you will feel when you achieve it”

Q7:-  Do you plan to take up more projects like these in the coming future??

Ans7:- I would definitely love to take up more projects like these, I really have to work hard because competition tends to get tuff at every single stage. I cannot leave my positivity, which makes me help to face all the challenges in life, I will for sure have to focus on my schedule. But yeah, I am really looking forward to it and I’m just going to give it my best shot.

Lakme Australia Fashion Show (LAFS) has been conceptualised conceived and created by ace designer Rose Dogra, with a vision and purpose to ignite across Australia multicultural fashion fusion and the world redefining the fashion code.

Showcasing and giving platform to top designers and talent across the country and overseas.LAFS is gaining extreme popularity in Australia and the international scene following its successful Sydney show in July 2018.

In 2019 the demand brings the brand to Melbourne, the event and fashion capital of some biggest brands.

The value proposition and objectives @LAFS 2019 collaborating unique designs, showcasing international talent and leveraging the brands to its direct target market would be the key to all success at the LAFS 2019 night. Melbourne’s biggest brands, products and services will be all out to play on the biggest fashion platform of 2019.

For an exquisite show like LAFS, team has handpicked Peninsula of the Atlantic Group,Southbank which is inspired by London’s Tate Modern Museum and not to mention for the exclusive after party and dinner the team has chosen MAIA- Atlantic Group, Southbank which is pared back, rustic and striking.
