SYNOPSIS

Their future is illusive…present is deceptive… and their past shall haunt them to death…

A couple (NEIL & ALIA) who believes that marriages are made in heaven discovers the  bitter truth as soon as their married life hits a rough patch.

Neil is a Mumbai based film maker while Alia is a former model who has

adapted a domestic life to enjoy the marital bliss. But because of Neil’s hectic and erratic  schedule, Alia starts suspecting him of having an extra martial affair with his models.

Things turn sour and start affecting their relationship, till finally Neil decides to change

the tide and give an environment to his wife to rebuild faith in him. He gets an  assignment at Alibaug and plans to take Alia along with him so they start their  relationship afresh.

As soon as they reach the exotic location they meet another couple (ROHIT & RIYA) who  have come there to enjoy their vacation. The two couple hit along well, and just when things  had started working well for Neil & Alia, things take a dramatic turn. Alia starts having  weird nightmare, which are horrifying and hard to explain. Neil doesn’t buy her story and on  the contrary starts suspecting her mental status. But Alia is not far off the hook and is  convinced that something is amiss when she discovers that as soon as the sun sets the  cottage staff calls it a day and doesn’t stay back in the cottage. She tries to reason out with  Neil but he is adamant on his stance, that this is all bull shit. To make matters worse, Alia  finds that Rohit is a leech and doesn’t miss a single opportunity to flirt with her in his wife’s absence. Neil on the other hand is too much occupied with his work to pay attention  to his wife.

Soon Alia starts seeing spirits which try to communicate something with her.

Neil is convinced that his wife has lost it. But then something happens which makes Neil fear for his wife. In the thick of night someone attacks Alia. They discover the person is  none other than Michael, brother of Vincent, who is the owner of the cottage. Vincent is  very sorry for the freakish incident and apologizes for his brother’s behavior. He explains  that his brother is a mental patient. Neil asks Vincent about the cottage staff leaving as  soon as it is dusk. Vincent explains that the cottage staff consists of local villagers who are  illiterate and superstitious. Since the unfortunate death of his wife, somehow the rumor  spread out that the cottage is haunted. he doesn’t believe in this kind of shit and is also  worried that it has affected the business lately. Meanwhile the sightings increase and start  taking its toll on Alia. Rohit comes forward and tries to help Neil. He tells him that he is a  psychologist and explains to him that these are nothing but a result of some childhood  trauma. The only solution is to make Alia agree for a session in regression where the root  of the problem can be traced. But its not an easy task as Alia has already started feeling  that some spirit is trying to possess her. Neil on the other is not ready to agree that ghosts  or spirits do exist. He tries to investigate the case by interrogating villagers, but truth is  illusive.

Rohit on the other hand with the help of his wife makes Alia agree for the regression, as she  no longer can take the spooky haunting. As Alya enters the deep state of regression the  spirit attacks her and takes full control of her body. Meanwhile Neil discovers that Michael  is not insane as his brother had claimed him to be. And that Vincent and Vincent have a  shady past and are the actual source of rumors regarding the cottage being haunted. when  Neil reaches the cottage to share his discovery with Alia and Neil, he finds his wife is totally  possessed by the spirit of Vincent’s dead wife. They all try to hold Alia but she is too  powerful to be contained. She knocks on everyone down and heads off to the outhouse.

In the outhouse Alia reaches the same spot where Vincent’s wife had been brutally  murdered by Vincent and Michael. Alia virtually sees the horrific incident from the poor  lady’s point of view. Meanwhile Vincent and Michael reach the cottage to teach Neil a  lesson, for he has discovered a truth that they had planned hard to conceal. Vincent is devil  incarnate and will kill whoever shall come in his path. We get to know the real motive of his  murderous streak.

Will Neil & Alia be able to survive the wrath of Vincent?

Or shall they find themselves fatally trapped between this deadly duel between Vincent and  his wife’s ghost?

And what about Rohit and Riya, who actually is not his wife….  Who is more stronger the DEVIL or the GHOST…

भोजपुरी सिनेमा जगत की उभरती अदाकारा सोनालिका प्रसाद जल्द ही “बिग गंगा” चैनल पर एक शो को को – होस्ट करती नज़र आएँगी, जिसके लिए वह बहुत उत्साहित है क्योंकि उन्होंने अपनी एक्टिंग के कैरियर की शुरुआत भी बतौर होस्ट ही की थी। आपको बता दें कि इस शो का नाम होगा “रोज होई भोज 4”. इस शो के प्रोमो कि टैगलाइन है “रोज होई भोज के किचन में सोनालिका प्रसाद

इस शो के तीन एपिसोड के लिए सोनालिका प्रसाद सेलेब्रिटी गेस्ट हैं, जिसमे वह शो के मेन होस्ट रिपु दमन के साथ होस्ट भी कर रही हैं। इसमें वह गेम भी खेलेंगी और खाना भी पकाएंगी।

नृत्य मेरा प्राण, सम्मान और मेरी आत्मा है: कथक गुरु शोवना नारायण

9 सितंबर, 2020 कोलकाता : “नृत्य मेरा प्राण, सम्मान और मेरी आत्मा है’’। मैं अपने जीवन के दोनों अलग हिस्से, एक नृत्यांगना और एक सरकारी अफसर दोनों ही मुझे काफी प्रिय था और मुझे दोनों से हीं काफी लगाव था। औपचारिक शिक्षा ग्राहण करने के पहले तीन वर्ष की उम्र में ही मै नृत्य की दुनिया में प्रवेश कर चुकी थी। मेरे घर में मेरा एक काफी सुंदर लहंगा है, जिसे देख आज भी वह छवि नजरों के सामने आ जाती है कि मैने कितनी कम उम्र में डांस शुरू की थी। श्री सीमेंट एवं प्रभा खेतान फाउंडेशन द्वारा संयुक्त रुप से आयोजित ‘‘एक मुलकात’’ नामक ऑनलाइन वेबिनार सत्र में कथक गुरु पद्मश्री शोवना नारायण ने देशभर में दर्शकों के सामने अपनी जीवन के इन पुरानी यादों को ताजा किया। वह ‘एहसास महिलाओं’ की तरफ से शिंजिनी कुलकर्णी द्वारा पूछे गये सवाल, आपने एक नृत्यांगना और सरकारी अफसर के बीच के तालमेल को कैसे सुव्यवस्थित किया?” का जवाब दे रही थी।

शोवना का जीवन उपलब्धियों से भरा है। वह कथक गुरु, कोरियोग्राफर, पूर्व सरकारी अधिकारी, लेखक और एक शोधकर्ता भी है। गुरु-शिष्य के बीच परंपरा से संबंधित, शोवना कथक की प्राचीन भारतीय परंपरा की जड़ को लोगों के सामने रखते हुए वह नृत्य शैलियों में क्रॉस-सांस्कृतिक प्रयोग के माध्यम से कथक संस्कृति को बढ़ावा देने एवं इसका विस्तार करने में विश्वास करती है।

कोलकाता की सुप्रसिद्ध सामाजिक संस्था प्रभा खेतान फाउंडेशन हमेशा से भारत और विदेशों में विभिन्न पहलुओं के माध्यम से भारत की समृद्ध सांस्कृतिक विरासत को प्रदर्शित करता आया है। एक मुलकात एक विशेष पहल है जिसके जरिये शोवना नारायण की तरह जीवन के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में प्रतिभावान एवं गौरवशाली महानुभाओं के साथ जुड़ने एवं उनके विषय में विस्तार से जानने के साथ उनके मार्गदर्शन का प्रयास करता है।

प्रभा खेतान फाउंडेशन के ब्रांडिंग एंड कम्युनिकेशन की प्रमुख सुश्री मनीषा जैन ने कहा: हमे गर्व है कि इस कार्यक्रम के जरिये हमे कथक गुरु शोवना नारायण जैसी प्रतिभावान महिला की मेजबानी करने का सम्मान मिला। हम इस तरह के गौरवशाली हस्तियों के साथ समृद्ध सत्र आयोजित करने की काफी पहले से प्रतीक्षा कर रहे थे।

शोवना नारायण ने अपने कला में नृत्य और दर्शन के तालमेल से कथक को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मंचों पर लोकप्रिय बनाया है। उन्होंने कथक और पश्चिमी शास्त्रीय नृत्य, फ्लेमेंको, टैप डांस, बौद्ध मंत्रों और इतने सारे के साथ कई अंतरराष्ट्रीय सहयोगी कार्यों को सफलतापूर्वक कोरियोग्राफ किया है। 2003 में, उन्होंने ऑलिम्पिक्स के उद्घाटन और समापन समारोहों की कोरियोग्राफी की।

शोवना ने पद्मश्री, संगीत नाटक अकादमी पुरस्कार, जापान के ओआईएससीए पुरस्कार, बिहार गौरव पुरस्कार और इतने सहित 37 से अधिक राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार का सम्मान पाया हैं।

चर्चा सत्र के दौरान शोवना के शब्दों में, साधना बोस की देखरेख में मैने कलकत्ता में एक बच्चे के रूप में कथक सीखना शुरू किया, फिर मुंबई चली गईं और जयपुर घराने के गुरु कुंदनलाल जी सिसोदिया के अधीन रहीं और बाद में दिल्ली जाकर मैने पंडित बिरजू महाराज से शिक्षा ग्रहण की।

शोवना कहती हैं, मैं गुरुजी बिरजू महाराज की मेरे प्रति कृतज्ञता कभी नहीं भूलूंगी जिन्होंने दिल्ली में अपने प्रदर्शन से पहले मेरे प्रदर्शन की घोषणा की। वह मेरे पहले चरण के प्रदर्शन के लिए लॉन्चिंग पैड था।

कथक की प्राचीनता और ‘‘कथक गांवों’’ पर अनके शोध को दर्शाते हुए शोवना ने कहा कि, लगभग 17 साल पहले वह एक प्रदर्शन के लिए बोधगया में थी। उस समय एक पत्रकार से पहली बार कथक गांव के बारे में पता चला। मुझे दो या तीन ऐसे गांव मिले और बाद में, मेरे एक आईएएस सहयोगी के साथ हमने ‘‘कथक गांवों की खोज’’ करने के लिए अपनी यात्रा शुरू की और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में दर्जनों गांव तक गए। वहां के लोगों से मिले और आधिकारिक दस्तावेज इकट्ठे किए और इस नृत्य को लेकर गहराई से खोजबीन शुरू की।

प्राचीन कत्थक कितना प्राचीन था, इस पर अपने निष्कर्षों को साझा करते हुए शोवना ने कहा, मिथिला में कामेश्वर अभिलेख के एक एपीग्राफिस्ट द्वारा पुष्टि की गई है कि यह मौर्य काल से ईसा पूर्व की है। प्राकृत और ब्राह्मी लिपि के शिलालेख में वाराणसी के क्षेत्र का कथक का भक्तिपूर्ण नृत्य के रूप में उल्लेख है।

आज हम जो कथक नृत्य देखते हैं, वह कथक समुदाय से बहुत अलग है। आज के खड़े मंदिरों में नृत्य रूपों को दर्शाती मूर्तियां, सबसे अच्छे रूप में लगभग 1000 से 1100 वर्षों के बीच की हैं। गुप्त और मौर्य काल के मंदिर और मूर्तियां कहां हैं जो वास्तुकला और मूर्तियों से बहुत समृद्ध थे! हम भारत के छोटे संग्रहालयों और अभिलेखागार पर ध्यान नहीं देते हैं, जो पुराने जमाने की सूचनाओं का भंडार समेटे हुए है। यहीं पर हमें कत्थक नृत्य के रूप और भाव में निरंतरता को देखना और इसे ढूंढना है।

सत्र के अंतिम चरण में शोवना के शब्दों में, मैं अपने आप में विश्वास करती थी और कथक से कभी विचलित नहीं हुई थी। हमने कविताओं, मनोदशाओं और यहां तक कि आंदोलनों के संदर्भ में समानता पाई, लेकिन इनके दृष्टिकोण, क्षेत्र और कला में जोर काफी अलग है। मैं फ्यूजन शब्द के उपयोग के बारे में काफी सावधान हूं जिसका मतलब है कि किसी चीज में विलय करने के लिए अपनी पहचान को खो देना। इसलिए यह नृत्य पुरानी कला एवं नये पैटर्न और लयबद्ध आयामों का एक सुंदर कोलाज है, जिससे मै अपनी अलग पहचान रखती हूं।

वेबिनार के जरिये एक मुलाकात श्रृंखला में पूरे भारत और अन्य महाद्वीपों के कलाकार, साधक, सांस्कृतिक अफिसादो, विचारक और लेखक लोगों के साथ जुड़े हुए हैं।

He writes poetry in four languages, pens lyrics in three, is a monster shredder who composes rock to heavy metal to pop to Spanish to mellow romantic numbers to dark music alike. If that isn’t enough, he is a world-acclaimed Tibetan activist, international rock-u-mentary filmmaker and now writer-director Shenpenn Khymsar is rewriting history by making Broken Wings, the first Nepali-Hindi-English film from Darjeeling, 72 years after Indian independence.
“Broken Wings is the first true representation of the Northeast. To an average Indian, Nepali means momos, security guards and a regiment. In an artistic sense, I am asking for inclusion of people from the Northeast.”
It has not been an easy journey for Khymsar. Born in exile, the struggle to find his true self and the want to go back home seems an eternal quest. “Tibet needs to be free,” he says simply. The rebel in Khymsar has always tried to rebuild his broken wings through the medium of cinema. His unconventional effort of combining political filmmaking with entertainment, mirroring the frustration of an entire young generation in the hills of North-Eastern India is evident in both his documentary ‘Journey of a Dream’ and his current feature, Broken Wings.

Kamala Harris’s Rise Sends A Message Of Hope To Young Girls Of Colour And Every Immigrant In The US – Tel K Ganesan...

US State Senator, politician, lawyer and Vice-Presidential running mate Kamala Devi Harris has scripted history by being the first Indian-American or African-American woman to be appointed as the Vice-Presidential running mate.

It is a known fact that Kamala Harris has a huge support base in the Indian-American community. Indian-born Hollywood producer, philanthropist and serial entrepreneur Tel K Ganesan is excited at the power push for the senator as it “sends a message of hope to young girls of colour, and any immigrant, for that matter.”

Ganesan, who met Harris at Detroit, Michigan during her political run for the primary race of the Democratic presidential ticket, avers that Harris is “high energy, positive, upbeat and a bubbly person.” Ganesan had an instant connect with her. “We shared wonderful, happy moments. She is very friendly. It is much like talking to a friendly neighbour.” Both Ganesan and Harris’s mother Shyamala Gopalan hail from Chennai. “We very briefly spoke in Tamil – vanakkam and nandri. We did talk about sambar,” he grins.

Though Harris considers herself black, she has also spoken of her Indian roots. Harris has worked in international development around the world and return to live in villages throughout India in the mid-90s. Her matrilineal family of strong South Indian women has always been her inspiration. Her mother is a Tamilian from Chennai, and had moved to the US for higher studies. Her father is Donald Harris, of Jamaican descent. Ganesan is very proud of Harris’s achievement. “As an immigrant, it is a great inspiration. She already has a track record of breaking barriers. She started off as the first person of color in the office of the district attorney in San Francisco as a tough prosecutor and later as California Attorney General before winning the Senate seat four years ago. Harris is also the first person of Indian descent to ever get on the presidential ticket. Harris amassed more than $35 million over 11 months despite challenges that black women candidates face in raising money.  If the Biden-Harris ticket wins, Harris will be the highest-ranking female US official in the country’s 244-year history. And it is not just that, Biden who would be 78 if he wins, might only serve a single four-year term, instantly making Harris a leading 2024 Democratic Presidential contender. She serves on several high-profile committees in the Senate including the Intelligence Committee and the Judiciary Committee.”

Ganesan believes that such a historic move is only possible in a country like the United States. “Hope fuels life and hope fuels opportunities. This will address the bottom-line issue of under-representation of women and minorities on US public company boards and will match the changing demographics we are experiencing in the country today.”

WORKING with the “Queen” Kangana Ranaut is just like a creator painting his dreams into reality. Filmmaker Atul Arora from Los Angeles is inching closer to his wish of directing his dream and talented actress Kangana Ranaut for his upcoming untitled Hindi feature film.

Speaking about his new upcoming venture, director Atul Arora confides, “It is a woman-centric film. My writer Pratik, an ad-filmmaker has narrated the script to Kangana ji and I have been told that the script has been liked and appreciated and she is willing to work with me. The coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown thereon had put a spanner to the project for some time. Meanwhile, with the unlocking of 4.0 guidelines things are coming back to normal. After coming on board and signing below the dotted lines we will very soon make an official announcement about it.”

Kangana Ranaut is known for her outspoken behaviour. She has been quite vocal about her opinions on many issues including actor Sushant Singh Rajput and his death case. The actor passed away on June 14 at his Bandra residence and since then a lot of conspiracy theories have been doing the rounds.

Voicing his support, Arora says, “Success hasn’t come easy for Kangana Ranaut and it is after a lot of struggle that she has made it to where she is today. While on  Sushant Singh Rajput he has been doing very well in terms of his film career. I have watched his films “Chhichhore” and “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story” and liked his performances too. It sounds surprising and hard to believe that he could have committed suicide at this point of his career.  On the other hand, It is true that any outsiders who are not a part of the film fraternity are not encouraged or backed upon if they opt for a career in the film industry. Mumbai’s COVID Hero – The inspirational story of Mauris Noronha...

Mumbai, 2^nd September, 2020:As India marks its sixth month of living with the coronavirus pandemic, the situation continues to deteriorate. Millions across the nation have been left in dire straits, reeling under the spectre of unemployment and unable to provide for themselves and their families. These trying times desperately call for a hero. And for lakhs of individuals across Maharashtra, that call has been answered by philanthropist and businessman Mauris Noronha.

A resident of Borivali’s I.C. Colony, Mauris is a professional poker player who has dedicated himself to the task of caring for society’s most vulnerable segments. From the time the lockdown began, this generous soul has provided essential supplies and provisions to lakhs of needy families in Mumbai and across Maharashtra. Traveling across the city and its adjoining regions, Mauris has made it his mission to reach out to as many in need as possible.

This determination to help society first took root in his own backyard. When news of the upcoming lockdown was first announced in March, Mauris advised the members of his housing society to maintain a strict quarantine and took it upon himself to supply over 120 families in their own compound. Aware of the ease with which the coronavirus spread and the danger it posed, especially to the elderly and the young, he was determined to keep his neighborhood safe.

As the impact of the lockdown on society’s weakest sections became apparent in the coming weeks, Mauris refused to stand by idly. With a team of likeminded volunteers, he initiated a door-to-door campaign in the worst hit slums of Mumbai. Initially focused on Borivali and Dahisar, Mauris and his team personally visited zero-income families in these areas with daily and weekly deliveries of food supplies. By, this initiative had provided vital rations to 5 lakhs of individuals across an approximate of 40,000 households.

But his generosity didn’t stop there. Drawing solely from his own earnings Mauris has since expanded his outreach efforts to every corner of Mumbai, from Cuffe Parade to Virar, and stretching as far north in Palghar. In addition, he has distributed supplies in areas of Ahmednagar, Shirdi, Pune and Nasik and the surrounding districts of Maharashtra. Working tirelessly throughout the day, Mauris has also begun to extend his aid in other ways. He has begun to distribute vital medical supplies and protective equipment to ambulance staffers and auto-rickshaw drivers in the region, and helped stranded migrants from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar navigate the bureaucratic requirements necessary to return to their homes. Furthermore, he has extended his support and generosity to numerous stranded migrants, handicapped groups, trans-genders, school teachers, ambulance personnel, police staff, BEST drivers, press reporters, fishing workers and villagers, auto-rickshaw drivers, security personnel, senior citizens, and bar girls, etc and many more people have received support from Mauris.

This marks the sixth month of his ongoing crusade to aid those in need. In this timeframe, Mauris has singlehandedly provided over an immeasurable number of life-saving supplies to tens of thousands of individuals. Through his selfless efforts and without taking any donations from anybody be it in any form, Mauris has proved himself to be the hero our nation so desperately needs, serving as a shining example of all that is good about the human spirit.

Well, I have a keen interest in interior designing . I operate pan India . I think God has been kind to get me the big clients from almost all the cities and gave me the privilege of being one of the most demanded designers . I started with Mumbai and now operate successfully in other cities as well.

 Could you please name some sectors you have worked with from your clientele . Our readers would love to know .

I have designed the houses of celebrities , famous hotels and lounges of Mumbai and other cities like Pune, Ahemdabad, Surat,Indore, Nagpur, Igatpuri, Delhi etc.

 We have heard that you are the owner of some prestigious awards.  Please throw some light on that

I hold the award from book of London for my best interior work in India and Aajtak award for best interior for known corporate brand.

 Perfect . We also know that apart from being a well qualified and adept in your designing, you are in love with Bollywood . How true is our research ?

I always had a charm of bollywood industry . I am  passionate about acting and got opportunities to pursue it .

 Do you have any upcoming projects in future ?

So, I have 4 new projects in my bag at present , for which I am taking the training in Martial Arts and transforming my body for the raw agent which is the demand for one of my projects. I am  playing the role of a girl next door in other three upcoming projects .

 If we ask you what aim do you live with and want to cherish , what would it be ?

My aim is to get settled in my interior designing work as well as dream for the bollywood screen awards and wish that my work is appreciated in the bollywood the same way as by God’s grace I am highly demanded in my designing buisness .

Former president Pranab Mukherjee, who had recently undergone a surgery for removal of a clot in his brain, passed away on August 31. He was 84. Prior to the surgery, the Mukherjee had also tested positive for COVID-19. Mukherjee’s son, Abhijit, informed about the development in a tweet.

29 अगस्त 2020, कोलकाता: कोलकाता की सुप्रसिद्ध सामाजिक संस्था प्रभा खेतान फाउंडेशन द्वारा आयोजित लाइव ऑनलाइन सत्र एक मुलाकात में लंदन से सुप्रसिद्ध राजनीतिक सिद्धांतकार और मार्गदर्शक, लॉर्ड भीखू पारेख ने अपने जीवन के अनुभवों और विचारों को साझा किया।

लॉर्ड पारेख ने महिला सशक्तीकरण, भारतीय संस्कृति, भारत में अंग्रेजी शिक्षा प्रणाली, माता-पिता के प्रति प्रेम के प्रति ग्लोबल प्लेटफॉर्म में बातचीत के दौरान लेडी मोहिनी केंट नून के साथ अपने विचारों को दर्शकों और श्रोताओं के समक्ष साझा किया।

भारत में लैंगिक समानता के विषय का उल्लेख करते हुए लॉर्ड पारेख ने कहा, हमें याद रखना चाहिए कि एक मां के रूप में  महिला के पास वो अधिकार है जो एक बेटी और पत्नी के रूप में महिला के पास नहीं है। जीवन के सभी क्षेत्रों में महिलाओं को समान अधिकार मिलने की शुरुआत भारत में धीरे-धीरे बढ़ रही है, जो एक अच्छे भविष्य का संकेत है।

एक युवा के रूप में उनके पास दुनिया को समझने के लिए एक आंतरिक आवेग था जिसके कारण और कुछ परंपराओं और रीति-रिवाजों का समर्थन नहीं कर उन्होंने इसका समर्थन करने से इनकार कर दिया।

लॉर्ड पारेख ने अपनी बचपन की यादों को ताजा करते हुए कहा, एक बार एक तथाकथित ‘अछूत’ महिला ने मुझे छुआ जिसे देख मेरी मां ने मुझे वहां से हट जाने और स्नान करने के लिए मुझपर चिल्लाया.

मैं समझ नहीं पा रहा था कि मेरी मां का स्पर्श ठीक क्यों है जबकि इस महिला के स्पर्श के लिए मुझे स्नान करने के लिए क्यों कहा जा रहा है। मैं ऐसे विचारों, इससे जुड़े सवालों के खिलाफ खड़े होने का साहस जुटा पाया क्योंकि मैं अपने माता-पिता के प्यार को महसूस करता था। इसी प्यार ने मुझे इस तरह के विचारों के खिलाफ खड़ा होने की हिम्मत दी थी।

लॉर्ड पारेख ने एक और बचपन का किस्सा साझा किया जिसका गहरा असर उन पर पड़ा। एक बार एक महिला ने मेरे पिता के पास आकर अपनी चूड़ी सौंप दी और 400 रुपये मांगे। मेरे पिता ने कहा कि इसकी कीमत 200 रुपये है। महिला ने जोर देकर कहा कि उसे कम से कम 300 रुपये दे दिया जाये। मेरे पिता ने चूड़ी फेंक दी और अंदर चले गए। दोपहर को उसके घर में शादी थी। महिला ने मुझसे कहा, मेरे घर में भी आपके जैसा दिखनेवाला एक राजकुमार बेटा है जो बीमार है, मैं डॉक्टर को फीस नहीं दे सकती। इसके लिए मुझे रुपयों की अत्यंत आवश्यकता है। महिला की यह दु:खद समस्या सुनकर मैंने कमरे में जाकर अपने पिता को जगाया और महिला को रुपये दिलवाया। जैसे ही उसे पैसा मिला उसने मेरे हाथ पकड़ लिए और कहा ‘भगवान आपका भला करे और आपका भविष्य अच्छा हो।’ तब से मेरे जीवन का काम सरल और समानता भरा रहा है।
  

भारतीयों के बीच अंग्रेजी के अत्यधिक प्रभाव का उल्लेख करते हुए लॉर्ड पारेख ने कहा, भारत और भारत के बीच का संबंध काफी जटिल है। आज भी, जब आप भारत के बारे में बात करते हैं, तो आप 3000 साल पुरानी भूमि के बारे में बात कर रहे होते हैं। हमारी चेतना और भाषा के साथ गति काफी अलग है। मेरी दिल की भावना यह है कि मुझे भारत में हिंदी भाषा से उतना ही प्रेम और लगाव है जिस प्रकार इजराइली लोग अपनी मातृभाषा हिब्रू भाषा से प्रेम करते हैं।

A police case of  Cheating, Fraud and Threatening has been submited by a Mumbai resident against TATA MOTORS, DEOGIRI AUTO,  at Commissioner of Police Mumbai.

Raj C. Anand, a resident of Mumbai have mentioned the entire sequence in his complaint, where he informed about the advance payment made to the Car dealer in march 2020 but because of loan refusal, Dealer advised to take another model of a car.

Eventually, ugly turn of events unfolded and dealer refused to return advance payment made by the complainant.

Complainant has provided all proofs and supportive of the payment along with the complaint to the POLICE.  In his complaint, he mentioned that How the dealer staff kept on making him run from post to pillar to get a satisfactory reply but all resulted in just frustration.

He added that the Dealer’s staff even started threatening Raj anand with dire circumstances for asking the entire Payment made by the complainant.

Police has been requested to file case against Ms Jayanti and Mr Patil under Section 420,415,503,34 and other relevant section and take necessary action and resolved the same at earliest for this.

Miss Masala Dosa’ team complete the shooting Schedule  of their film by following all the safety guidelines laid by the state government. The writer, director & producer of the film  Alok Shrivastava told us that the first schedule has been shot in Shimla & other parts of Himachal Pradesh.

Owing to the corona virus pandemic travelling back  to Shimla with the unit was not an option so he had to recreate this set of Shimla police station in Mumbai . ‘Miss Masala Dosa’ is a  love story of a college student & her professor based in Palampur Himachal Pradesh. The police station sequence was shot with actors Ojas Rawal, Lavina Israni, Mannu Punjabi, Mrinmai Kolwalkar & Prashant Naryanan.

Prashant is playing a cameo but has an impactful role. He has acted in Alok Shrivastavas last year release ‘Endcounter’in a lead role. He says Alok & I go back a long way.

Since it’s a very tough time for the producers I did not want to charge for this & did  it for the friendship I share with Alok & I completely trust his vision.The sequence was completed with utmost safety.

The film also has veteran actors like  Hiten Tejwani, Anil Dhawan, Bijendra Kala, Shalinee Kapoor & Ashutosh Sinha. The final shoot of the film will be completed shortly.

मुम्बई। ‘मिस मसाला डोसा’ टीम ने महाराष्ट्र राज्य सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित सभी सुरक्षा दिशानिर्देशों का पालन करते हुए अपनी फिल्म की शूटिंग फिर से शुरू की। फिल्म के लेखक, निर्देशक और निर्माता आलोक श्रीवास्तव ने बताया कि पहला शेड्यूल शिमला सहित हिमाचल प्रदेश के अन्य हिस्सों में शूट किया जा चुका है। फिर बाद कोरोना वायरस से व्याप्त महामारी के कारण पूरी यूनिट को शिमला ले जाना संभव नहीं था, इसलिए मुंबई के उपनगर दहिसर में शिमला पुलिस स्टेशन का सेट फिर से बनाना पड़ा। ‘मिस मसाला डोसा’ एक कॉलेज की छात्रा और पालमपुर, हिमाचल प्रदेश में स्थित उसके प्रोफेसर की प्रेम कहानी है। पुलिस स्टेशन के सीक्वेंस को अभिनेता ओजस रावल, लवीना इसरानी, मन्नू पंजाबी, मृण्मई कोलावलकर और प्रशांत नारायणन के साथ शूट किया गया।

मृण्मयी कोलवालकर पुलिस अधिकारी की भूमिका में है। प्रशांत की भूमिका कैमियो है लेकिन वह एक प्रभावशाली भूमिका निभा रहे हैं। उन्होंने पिछले साल रिलीज आलोक श्रीवास्तव की फिल्म ‘एन्डकाउंटर’ में मुख्य भूमिका निभाई है। कोरोना काल को देखते हुए उनका कहना है कि आलोक और मैं बहुत पीछे चले गए।

चूंकि यह निर्माताओं के लिए बहुत कठिन समय है, मैं इसके लिए चार्ज नहीं करना चाहता था और मैंने इसे आलोक के साथ दोस्ती के खातिर किया और मुझे उनकी दूरदृष्टि पर पूरी तरह से भरोसा है। यह अनुक्रम अत्यंत सुरक्षा के साथ पूरा हुआ था। फिल्म में हितेन तेजवानी, अनिल धवन, बिजेंद्र काला, शालीन कपूर और आशुतोष सिन्हा भी अभिनय कर रहे हैं। फिल्म की शूटिंग जल्द ही पूरी हो जाएगी।

Edtech company Lido Learning launches first of its kind Young Leaders Scholarship of 10 crores to help India’s best students become the country’s future leaders. The aim is to get this Scholarship Fund to 100 crore over the next 2 years.

Lido Learning, which offers small group tutoring to students in Grade 4-9 in Maths, Science, English and Coding, has seen massive month-on- month growth during the pandemic, as more and more parents have opted to replace in-person school and tuition with online learning.
However, the rising unemployment has made it difficult for many stellar students to be able to afford to continue studying online.

Thanks to Lido’s billionaire investors like Ronnie Screwvala (Founder UTV, UpGrad) and Vikram Singhania (Managing Director of JK Tyres), we have been able to launch our Young Leaders Scholarship Fund to ensure that India’s best students do not have any break in their learning and development,” said Sahil Sheth, CEO. “Our mission is to

The fund will give out scholarships of Rs. 20,000 to deserving students from Grade 4-10. Selected students will become part of Lido’s flagship

and masterclasses with leaders in order to give students a well-rounded education to be the leaders of tomorrow. The curriculum has been designed by an expert team from Harvard and Stanford School of Education and focuses on building problem solving, technical skills, communication skills, confidence and creativity.
“With NEP 2020, the new government directive is clear: we should be focusing on holistic, skill based learning and our Young Leaders Program does exactly that,” said Sheth. “It’s no longer good enough to train to be just an engineer, when most people are going to change careers at least 7 times, and when 800 million jobs are going to be lost to Artificial Intelligence. You need to have a very diverse and flexible skillset and the mind-set to change the world, if you want to be part of the 5% that will be giving orders to machines, rather than the 95% taking orders from them.”
The Young Leaders Scholarship Fund will be disbursing the first of the grants starting August 10 and the Learning to Lead Masterclass series will be kick-starting August 15, with Anupam Mittal (Shaadi CEO), Madhur Deora (PayTM President) and Ronnie Screwvala (UTV Founder) as the first speakers.

Singer Vee Kapoor Says- I Hope More People With Vitiligo Are Accepted In The Entertainment Industry...

Singer Vee Kapoor, who is known for soulful devotional songs like ‘Giridhari’ and ‘Saavaro’ which have been released by prominent music labels like Times Music, has come forward to support a cause championed by his designer Saran Kohli. A while back, Saran started suffering from vitiligo, a skin based disease which compelled him to come up with an awareness campaign to spread awareness about it. He thought of designing a series of masks that would reflect what people, who suffer from this condition, go through.

Talking about the same, he says, “As artists, we have a certain responsibility towards society. I have the means to reach out to those who like my music and follow my work. I thought of using that reach to support my friend’s initiative and make more people aware of this condition and the discrimination which people who suffer from this go through. I was happy to wear the mask, endorse it and put out a statement out there along with a bunch of wonderful people who stepped forward to support this initiative. I have always been proud of my friend Saran’s achievements.  He has made the country proud with his incredible work as a designer and I am so glad to see him taking this initiative now.”

The mask is a dual or multi-coloured one and aims to educate people about vitiligo and how people ought to be more sensitive about those who suffer from it.

The society, including the entertainment industry, needs to be more sensitive about this. There are also some extremely insensitive who mock people suffering from skin diseases.

“Khadi is a symbol of Gandhiji’s self-reliance and is environmentally friendly and in tune with the spirit of Prime Minister’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. Thousands of rural women who made these masks developed skills and are gainfully employed,” said Arushi at an Ek Mulakat webinar in conversation with Ehsaas Women of Kolkata member, Nilisha Agarwal. The webinar was organized by Kolkata-based NGO Prabha Khaitan Foundation. Over the years Ek Mulakat has become a popular forum for free-wheeling discussions with eminent personalities and achievers.

“It was great to have a young achiever to share her ideas, life experiences and dreams with us. Arushi, who is proud of her Indian heritage, is a source of inspiration for thousands of poor women and others. At present, Arushi connects with thousands of people through the Sparsh Ganga campaign to promote awareness of Ganga and its biodiversity,” said social and cultural activist, Sundeep Bhutoria, Trustee, Prabha Khaitan Foundation.

Arushi, who has authored two books and also produced a regional film Major Nirala on the Indian Army, is now interested in big banner Bollywood projects, “Yes! I am in talks with some big directors and producers for OTT platform projects for two or three web series. I am thankful to Prasun Joshi for support. I hope to make an announcement soon,” she said.

Arushi, the chairperson of Himalaya Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital in Dehradun. She has chaired the International Environment Summit (IES) and spearheads the Sparsh Ganga Foundation, an NGO promoting environmental awareness, sustainable development, women empowerment, water conservation and cleaning river Ganga and other water bodies. The Government of India has recognised volunteers of the Sparsh Ganga campaign as “Ganga Heroes”.

Arushi started a environmental awareness project “Beautiful Valley” in 2009 and drew in the support of the Dalai Lama and Hema Malini, MP, and others. Her father, Ramesh Pokhriyal, the Hon’ble Education Minister of India, is a great source of inspiration.

A votary of circular economy and the live wire behind Sparsh Ganga’s various social initiatives, Arushi has trained and engaged over 800 rural women to be gainfully employed for making masks, incense sticks from waste flowers and environmental-friendly biodegradable jute bags as substitute for plastic. A classical Kathak exponent, Arushi has performed in over 15 countries. Her Kathak ballet “Ganga Avataran” has been much appreciated the world over. “The ballet gave me an opportunity to fuse my two passions – environmental awareness and dance,” she said.

Replying to a question “What can we do from our homes during covid times to support the environment?” Arushi said, “First we should keep our families and the country safe by staying indoors and by maintaining social distance protocols. Second we should conserve water. There is a water crisis looming over 22 cities in the country. About 70 per cent of water used is wasted which we should find ways of conserving and utilising in a proper way like watering plants and so on.”

The nationwide lockdown, being observed since March 2020 to control virus spread, is causing restlessness among countrymen. Actress Bidita Bag supports famous fashion photographer Somsubhro Sarkaar’s concept through an unique video named ‘Pandemic’ to celebrate 73rd I-DAY and pay tribute to the nation which is fighting a pandemic situation.

Bidita Bag took to her Instagram account to share the message, which read, “A Pandemic. A Lockdown. Life upturned. Humanitarian crisis. A feeling of being caged. Switch from physical to virtual. Uncertainties all around. The collapse of the expected. Yet, from the ashes rise a breed of heroes. The resilience of the human persists, defying all odds.”

The video begins showcasing various struggles faced by human beings during the pandemic. Famous fashion photographer Somsubhro Sarkaar conceptualized and executed the whole shoot. Somsubhro with the help of Anshul R Gupta, popular film editor, and sound engineer Shaikh Mehboob executed this video. Talking about the video, Som Says, “The immense physical, psychological, social and virtual changes, struggles faced by human beings gave me the idea. Further discussions on the thoughts with multidimensional actor Bidita Bag gave it a structure.”

The collective Indian psyche, obstacles, and unsurpassable courage unfolded in poetry by Rachita Chauhan who penned a long note to go along with the video. Rachita said, “We are living in a wartime situation. A war against COVID. Unpredictability looms large. We stand face to face with our mortality. However, we are also witnessing stories of unsurpassable courage and dedication to duty. Humanity today stands in unison.”

Rima Mishra, founder of Media Tribe who agreed to help spread the video online adds, “No one can stop Somsubhro Sarkaar from creating magic. Even during the pandemic he and Bidita worked hard to shoot this very creative pandemic video. Resilience helps us survive and fight the disease better is what Rachita tells us through her poem. We should reassure ourselves that normalcy will return.”
