“चोटी कटवा चुड़ैल” का आतंक अब सिनेमा घरों में

मुंबई । ओम शिवाय फिल्म्स के बैनर तले बनी बहुचर्चित हॉरर–कॉमेडी फिल्म सिहरन अब पूरे भारत के सिनेमा घरों में रिलीज हो चुकी है। फिल्म का ऑफिशियल ट्रेलर रेड बल्ब स्टूडियो से 10 तारीख को वर्ल्डवाइड लॉन्च किया गया था, जिसे दर्शकों से शानदार प्रतिक्रिया मिली।

फिल्म के निर्माता हरि नारायण चौरसिया ने बताया कि सिहरन एक जबरदस्त हॉरर और कॉमेडी का कॉम्बिनेशन है, जिसमें डर के साथ-साथ भरपूर मनोरंजन और एक सशक्त सामाजिक संदेश भी दिया गया है।

इस फिल्म की मुख्य अभिनेत्री आराधना सचान हैं, जबकि प्रमुख भूमिकाओं में अभिषेक शर्मा, जितेंद्र यादव और मधुश्री शाह नजर आ रहे हैं। फिल्म का  लेखन, कहानी, स्क्रीनप्ले और निर्देशन मनीष कुमार वर्मा द्वारा किया गया है, जिन्होंने हॉरर-कॉमेडी के साथ-साथ दमदार एक्शन को भी प्रभावशाली ढंग से प्रस्तुत किया है।

फिल्म की कहानी में पान की खेती का विशेष कॉन्सेप्ट शामिल किया गया है, जो निर्माता हरि नारायण चौरसिया के सुझाव पर रखा गया। कृषक समाज से जुड़े पान उत्पादकों की समस्याओं, उनके व्यवसाय और छोटे गांवों से लेकर बड़े शहरों तक होने वाले शोषण को फिल्म में सशक्त रूप से दिखाया गया है।

फिल्म की सह-निर्माता आभा चौरसिया ने बताया कि यह फिल्म ग्रामीण परिवेश में फैली रूढ़िवादी सोच, महिलाओं के बीच रंगभेद और सामाजिक भेदभाव जैसे मुद्दों को उठाती है। यह फिल्म नारी सशक्तिकरण पर आधारित है और यह संदेश देती है कि यदि महिला ठान ले, तो वह हर कठिनाई को पार कर सकती है।

फिल्म में निर्माता की सुपुत्री प्रियंशी चौरसिया ने एक न्यूज रिपोर्टर की भूमिका निभाई है। उन्होंने बताया कि उन्हें फिल्म की कहानी बेहद पसंद आई और इस प्रोजेक्ट का हिस्सा बनना उनके लिए यादगार अनुभव रहा। वहीं डॉ. आकांक्षा गांव की महिला नीलिमा के किरदार में दमदार अभिनय करती नजर आती हैं।

इस फिल्म की कास्टिंग डायरेक्टर और प्रोजेक्ट हेड भी आराधना सचान हैं, जिन्होंने अभिनय के साथ-साथ अपनी जिम्मेदारियों को भी बखूबी निभाया है।

फिल्म के सिनेमेटोग्राफर राज यादव हैं, जिनके कैमरा वर्क ने फिल्म को शानदार विज़ुअल टच दिया है।

फिल्म का एक्शन बीर मास्टर द्वारा डिजाइन किया गया है, जो पूरी तरह साउथ फिल्मों के स्तर का दमदार एक्शन दर्शाता है। सतना और छतरपुर जैसे क्षेत्रों में फिल्माई गई इस फिल्म में दर्शकों को भरपूर एक्शन और थ्रिल देखने को मिलेगा।

फिल्म में कुल चार खूबसूरत गाने हैं, जिनका संगीत डब्लू साहिस ने दिया है और जिन्हें अनुष्का बैनर्जी ने अपनी मधुर आवाज़ में गाया है। बैकग्राउंड म्यूजिक अनिकेत भारद्वाज और संकेत गुंडेकर का है। आर्ट डायरेक्शन सीपी सेन और असिस्टेंट आर्ट डायरेक्टर रवि रंगीला ने संभाला है, जबकि मेकअप का कार्य गुड्डू गोल्डन ने किया है।

निर्माता हरि नारायण चौरसिया ने जानकारी दी कि फिल्म की शूटिंग 15 अक्टूबर 2023 से शुरू होकर लगभग 30 दिनों तक चली। फिल्म के प्रमुख दृश्य खजुराहो जिले के प्रसिद्ध धार्मिक स्थल अतरा सरकार जी के हनुमान मंदिर, आसपास के जंगलों और विभिन्न लोकेशनों पर फिल्माए गए हैं।

फिल्म में ध्रुव सिंह बघेल भी अहम किरदार में नजर आते हैं, जबकि दुर्गेश कुमार एक महत्वपूर्ण मनोवैज्ञानिक भूमिका में दिखाई देते हैं। इस फिल्म में मध्य प्रदेश, उत्तर प्रदेश और मुंबई के लगभग 80–90 कलाकारों और तकनीकी सहयोगियों ने योगदान दिया है।

निर्माता हरि नारायण चौरसिया ने फिल्म में एसोसिएट डायरेक्टर की भूमिका के साथ-साथ पुलिस इंस्पेक्टर अजय नायक का किरदार भी निभाया है। छतरपुर जिले के कई कलाकारों ने भी फिल्म में अहम भूमिकाएँ निभाई हैं, जिनमें विधायक की भूमिका में राजेश महंतो विशेष रूप से उल्लेखनीय हैं।

इससे मूवी से  पहले निर्माता हरि नारायण चौरसिया विंध्य की विरासत नाम की डॉक्यूमेंट्री के 52 एपिसोड बना चुके है  जो कि दूरदर्शन चैनल पर टेलीकास्ट हो चुके है ।

जिसके लिए उन्हें उनके काम की बहुत  सराहना  मिली । उन्होंने पान पर एक डॉक्यूमेंट्री फिल्म बनाई थी ।

फिल्म की शूटिंग मध्य प्रदेश की खूबसूरत लोकेशनों जैसे गढ़ी मल्हरा, आसपास के गांव, छतरपुर शहर, सतना, माधौगढ़ का किला और ए.के.एस. यूनिवर्सिटी में की गई है। फिल्म में सतना, छतरपुर, रीवा, इंदौर, इटारसी, ग्वालियर, मुंबई और उत्तर प्रदेश के कलाकारों को अवसर दिया गया है।

फिल्म में बॉलीवुड कलाकार मुस्ताक खान और जूनियर मेहमूद ने कॉमेडी रोल निभाकर दर्शकों को खूब हंसाया है, जबकि मुख्य विलेन की भूमिका सत्यम शुक्ला ने निभाई है। अन्य प्रमुख कलाकारों में विजय मानवतकर, अजय श्रीवास्तव, नीरज सिंह राजपूत, के.एल. रंधावा, प्रताप वर्मा, अंजू रस्तोगी सहित कई नाम शामिल हैं।

Noida, 11 December 2025: The 18th Global Film Festival Noida (GFFN) 2025, presented by the AAFT, burst into life at the legendary Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, with an atmosphere charged with excitement, global participation, and an exceptional lineup of distinguished guests.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT and Global Film Festival, formally inaugurated the festival, proudly declaring it “the biggest academic film festival of the world,” marking yet another milestone in AAFT’s legacy of excellence.

The opening ceremony was a remarkable gathering of film legends, global diplomats, industry pioneers, and cultural leaders, making it one of the most prestigious film festival inaugurations ever hosted by an educational institution.

Mrs. Maneka Sanjay Gandhi, Environmentalist, Former Union Minister & Founder of People for Animals, delivered a compelling address on the newly launched CINEKIND Award, an initiative committed to promoting kindness, compassion, and human values through cinema. A deeply impressed T.P. Agarwal stated, “I have never seen a film festival of such stature, size, and grandeur in any institution in the world. It is beyond the reach of any institution to match a festival of this scale.”

Padma Shri Madhur Bhandarkar, National Award–winning filmmaker, expressed heartfelt gratitude and admiration for AAFT, praising the festival for nurturing young creative minds and shaping the future of Indian cinema. नई दिल्ली। जनता दल (यूनाइटेड) दिल्ली प्रदेश कार्यालय में आज महा सदस्यता अभियान की  भव्य शुरुआत की गई। उक्त मौके पर जंतर मंतर स्थित जदयू प्रधान कार्यालय में भव्य कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान 5 लाख नए सदस्य को जोड़ने के लक्ष्य के साथ तमाम कार्यकर्तों को संकल्पित करवाया गया। विभिन्न राजनीतिक दलों से जुड़े लगभग 500 नए लोगों ने देश के प्रसिद्ध नेता, जनता दल (यूनाइटेड) के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष एवं बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री माननीय श्री नीतीश कुमार जी के विचारों, सिद्धांतों और विकासवादी सोच से प्रेरित होकर जदयू की सदस्यता ग्रहण की।

महा सदस्यता अभियान के दौरान संगठन को और अधिक सशक्त बनाने की दिशा में पाँच नए प्रदेश पदाधिकारियों की नियुक्ति भी की गई। जिसमें :-

*     राहुल कुमार को प्रधान महासचिव,

*      सर्वेश कश्यप को प्रदेश महासचिव,

*      ब्रज किशोर को युवा विंग का प्रदेश अध्यक्ष,

*      अनिल कुमार झा को पूर्वांचल मोर्चा का प्रदेश अध्यक्ष, तथा

*      दिग्विजय सिंह चौहान को आईटी सेल का प्रदेश महासचिव मनोनीत किया गया।

इस अवसर पर जदयू दिल्ली प्रदेश अध्यक्ष श्री शैलेंद्र कुमार ने नवनियुक्त पदाधिकारियों को शुभकामनाएं देते हुए कहा कि जनता दल (यूनाइटेड) नीतीश कुमार जी के विचारों और नीतियों से प्रेरित होकर समाज के हर वर्ग के हित में कार्य कर रही है। उन्होंने विश्वास जताया कि सभी नवनियुक्त पदाधिकारी संगठन को मजबूत करने, पार्टी की नीतियों को जन-जन तक पहुँचाने तथा दिल्ली में जदयू को नई ऊंचाइयों तक ले जाने में अहम भूमिका निभाएंगे।

कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित पार्टी नेताओं एवं कार्यकर्ताओं ने महा सदस्यता अभियान को सफल बनाने का संकल्प लिया और संगठन विस्तार के लिए एकजुट होकर कार्य करने की प्रतिबद्धता दोहराई।

हरीश सिंह नेगी – संघर्ष से सफलता तक का प्रेरक सफर...

रुद्रप्रयाग, उत्तराखंड (ग्वांस गाँव): हरीश सिंह नेगी, जो मूल रूप से उत्तराखंड के जिला रुद्रप्रयाग के ग्वांस गाँव से हैं, आज होटल इंडस्ट्री में एक सफल हेड शेफ के रूप में अपनी पहचान बना चुके हैं। गरीब परिवार में जन्मे हरीश ने बचपन से ही कड़ी मेहनत, तपस्या और जिम्मेदारियों के साथ अपना जीवन बिताया। परिवार की आर्थिक स्थिति मजबूत न होने के बावजूद उन्होंने कभी हार नहीं मानी।

शुरुआत में हरीश अपने गाँव में घर-घर जाकर लेबर का काम करते थे। 12वीं कक्षा पास करने के बाद उन्होंने रोजगार की तलाश में होटल लाइन जॉइन की। पहले होटल में उन्होंने बर्तन धोने का काम किया, पर धीरे-धीरे अपनी लगन और मेहनत से उन्होंने कुकिंग सीखी और एक समय आया जब वह शेफ बने। कुशलता, अनुभव और अनथक मेहनत के दम पर आज वह हेड शेफ के पद पर कार्यरत हैं।

हरीश बताते हैं कि उनके पिता श्री शूर सिंह नेगी, जो एक किसान हैं, ने बेहद कठिन परिस्थितियों में भी परिवार और बच्चों की पढ़ाई का पूरा ध्यान रखा। उनकी मां श्रीमती विमला देवी, जो एक गृहिणी हैं, पढ़ी-लिखी न होने के बावजूद हर रोज सुबह 4 बजे उठकर हरीश की पढ़ाई के लिए चाय बनाती थीं ताकि वह जीवन में आगे बढ़ सकें। हरीश अपनी सफलता का पूरा श्रेय अपने माता-पिता और बहन के मार्गदर्शन को देते हैं।

हरीश का सपना इंडियन आर्मी में जाने का था, लेकिन चयन न होने के बाद उन्होंने होटल उद्योग को अपना करियर बनाया। उन्होंने इंटरमीडिएट की पढ़ाई राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज घिमतोली, रुद्रप्रयाग से पूरी की और वर्तमान में पुणे के एक प्रतिष्ठित होटल में नौकरी कर रहे हैं।

वह कहते हैं—

“आज मैं जो भी हूं, अपने माता-पिता, गुरुओं और उनकी दी हुई सीख की वजह से हूं। उनके आशीर्वाद ने ही मुझे यहाँ तक पहुँचाया है।”

हरीश सिंह नेगी आज न केवल सफल शेफ हैं, बल्कि कई युवाओं को होटल लाइन में ट्रेन कर चुके हैं। उनकी मेहनत, सकारात्मक सोच और संघर्ष की कहानी आज कई युवाओं के लिए प्रेरणास्रोत बनी हुई है।

इंडियन मोशन पिक्चर प्रोड्यूसर्स एसोसिएशन (IMPPA) के अध्यक्ष श्री अभय सिन्हा ने CII बिग पिक्चर समिट 2025 के दौरान पूरे भारत में किफायती और सुलभ सिनेमा इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर विकसित करने की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया।

कॉन्फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडियन इंडस्ट्री (CII) द्वारा आयोजित यह समिट 1 से 2 दिसंबर 2025 तक मुंबई के जुहू स्थित जेडब्ल्यू मैरियट होटल में आयोजित हुआ। यह समिट अपने बारहवें संस्करण में “AI युग में क्रिएटिविटी और कॉमर्स को जोड़ना” थीम के साथ संपन्न हुआ, जिसमें सरकार, मीडिया, टेक्नोलॉजी और एंटरटेनमेंट जगत के प्रमुख नेता शामिल हुए।

इस समिट में IMPPA का प्रतिनिधित्व सीनियर वाइस प्रेसिडेंट सुश्री सुषमा शिरोमणि, एक्जीक्यूटिव कमेटी मेंबर व FMC के जनरल सेक्रेटरी श्री निशांत उज्ज्वल, श्री यूसुफ शेख और श्री मनीष जैन ने किया। सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्रालय के सचिव श्री संजय जाजू ने समिट की अध्यक्षता की।

समिट का एक प्रमुख सत्र “Cinema Infrastructure: Building Screens and Modern Theatres for Equitable Entertainment in India” विषय पर केंद्रित रहा। सत्र को संबोधित करते हुए श्री अभय सिन्हा ने कहा कि आज मल्टीप्लेक्स में टिकट दरें 200 से 250 रुपये तक होने के कारण निम्न और मध्यम आय वर्ग के दर्शकों की पहुंच से बाहर होती जा रही हैं, जिससे थिएटर फुटफॉल और पूरी फिल्म इंडस्ट्री की ग्रोथ प्रभावित हो रही है।

उन्होंने थिएटर उद्योग पर लगने वाले TDS और GST जैसे करों की समीक्षा कर एग्ज़िबिशन सेक्टर को राहत देने की मांग की। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने सुझाव दिया कि बस डिपो और रेलवे स्टेशनों पर 100 सीटों वाले मिनी सिनेमाघरों का निर्माण किया जाए, ताकि आम जनता के लिए फिल्म देखना अधिक सुलभ हो सके।

श्री सिन्हा ने ट्रकों पर आधारित 100 सीटों वाले मोबाइल थिएटर शुरू करने का भी प्रस्ताव रखा, जो छोटे शहरों और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों तक पहुंच बना सकें। उनके अनुसार, यह पहल देश में मनोरंजन के नए अवसर पैदा करेगी और क्षेत्रीय दर्शकों को सिनेमाई अनुभव से जोड़ेगी।

समिट के दौरान भारत में स्क्रीन इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर को बढ़ाने को लेकर कई नवाचारी विचार सामने आए और टेक्नोलॉजी-आधारित, समावेशी विकास के प्रति इंडस्ट्री की प्रतिबद्धता को दोहराया गया।

नजीबाबाद, बिजनौर: दुआ फाउंडेशन के एक साल पूरे होने के उपलक्ष्य में उत्तर प्रदेश के बिजनौर नजीबाबाद मे सामुहिक विवाह का आयोजन किया गया जहां सैकड़ों जोड़ों का सामुहिक विवाह हुआ. यहां मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में कई हस्तियाँ मौजूद रहीं. अग्रवाल फार्म हाऊस मे आयोजित कार्यक्रम में मुस्लिम समुदाय के लोगों का निकाह किया गया वहीँ हिन्दू समाज के जोड़ों के लिए वर माला अर्पण कार्यक्रम हुआ. दूल्हे दुल्हन को अतिथियों ने दुआ से नवाजा.

दुआ फाउंडेशन के अध्यक्ष अब्दुल्ला गुलजार, उपाध्यक्ष शमीम अहमद के मार्गदर्शन में समाज के आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर परिवारों के लड़के लड़कियों के सामूहिक विवाह कराए गए। संस्था ने विवाह का पूरा खर्च उठाया और सामूहिक भोज दिया। इस प्रेरणादायक कार्यक्रम में हाजी यूसुफ कुरैशी, हाजी यूनुस कुरैशी, हाजी शमीम कुरैशी, अब्दुल्ला गुलजार, शमीम कुरैशी, हाजी नसीम अहमद, मो.असलम, इरफान, इमरान इकराम, अब्दुल सत्तार का विशेष सपोर्ट हासिल रहा।

दुआ फ़ाउंडेशन के द्वारा आयोजित इस सामुहिक विवाह में विशेष बात यह नजर आई कि हर धर्म और समाज के लोगों ने इसका लाभ लिया. बेहतर समाज के निर्माण में इस तरह का कदम बेहद महत्वपूर्ण माना जा रहा है.

गौरतलब है कि दुआ फाउंडेशन ने केवल एक साल मे लोगों की भलाई के काफी कार्य करके अपना एक नाम और मुकाम स्थापित किया है. इस संस्था के सामाजिक क्षेत्र में बहुत से कार्य हैं. ये एनजीओ गरीबों की मदद करती है. अस्पताल में भर्ती मरीजों की इलाज में मदद करती है. शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में भी गरीब और जरूरतमंद छात्रों की सहायता करती है. गरीब लड़की लड़के की शादी करवाने मे भी संस्था आगे रहती है. सैकड़ों लोगों का सामुहिक विवाह कराकर संस्था ने उन सभी लोगों, उनके परिवार वालों की दुआ ली है.

वहाँ मौजूद लोगों ने कहा कि ये एक उदाहरण देने वाला काम है जिसकी जितनी भी प्रशंसा की जाए कम होगी. दुआ फ़ाउंडेशन और उनकी पूरी टीम को मुबारकबाद दी गई. दुआ के बर्थडे पर ऐसे कार्यक्रम का आयोजन इस बात को सिद्ध करता है कि पैसा होना अलग बात है दिल बड़ा होना अलग बात है.

यहां सैकड़ों लोगों की भव्य शादी हुई. जो अर्थिक रूप से कमजोर परिवार था उसने भी कभी सपना देखा होगा कि उसके बेटे बेटी की शादी का बड़ा फंक्शन हो. दुआ फ़ाउंडेशन ने उन सैकड़ों घरों में खुशी फैला दी. आजकल इतनी महंगाई के दौर में लोग बच्चों की शादी में कर्ज तक ले लेते हैं. सामुहिक विवाह का आयोजन करके लोगों की दुआएं लेने का काम किया दुआ फाउंडेशन ने. बच्चियों के परिवार वाले भी काफी खुश थे.

“Manthan” A Solo Exhibition By U.S.–Based Artist Anisha Sanghani, Opened At Kamalnayan Bajaj Art Gallery...

Anisha Sanghani’s first International solo show “Manthan” scheduled at Kamalnayan Bajaj Art Gallery, Nariman Point, Mumbai, December 1–6, 2025., embodies a Mythic Storm of Gods, Plastic, and Conscience. An ocean of kaleidoscopic colors unfurls, punctuated by a glimmer of gold. Gods ascend from the waves, and divinity appears revitalized. Nonetheless, upon closer examination, disillusion prevails. The resplendent display is not divine, but rather a searing commentary, as the gods’ smiles dissipate.

At Manthan, U.S. based Indian artist Anisha Sanghani rejects painting in favor of protest. Her mythic mixed-media exhibition, presents a world that has corrupted worship into waste. Drawing from the cosmic legend of Samudra Manthan, the churning of the ocean, Sanghani reimagines the myth in a world where the nectar has vanished, the ocean is slick with oil, and all that glitters is plastic. This is not Manthan. This is lamentation.

Maa Kali ascends, not with benedictions, but with blood and ire. Shiva grasps not the halahal, but mountains of discarded reverence. Vishnu floats not on cosmic waters but on rainbows of waste. Each canvas, each frame, trembles with sacred betrayal—crafted from acrylics, gold and silver foil, candy wrappers, metal, fabric, plastic, and even fishing net. These materials are not just medium. They are message.

But for Sanghani, this isn’t just an exhibition. It is resurrection. After two decades of work as a senior graphic product and package designer in U.S. the pandemic closed one door, and she opened another. Returning to art school, earning her BFA, reinventing herself as a full-time artist, muralist, and educator—this show is her soul on canvas. Her journey is one of reclamation. And each piece reflects that rebirth.

Manthan’s presence is announced with a wail, not a whisper. A sculpture visibly trembles, as if the Earth itself is experiencing a seismic event. The shimmer is mesmerizing, then unexpectedly piercing. A stark reminder that our oceans are facing destruction, our rituals are losing their essence, and our faith is being entangled in plastic. The exhibition serves as a call to action. Because when the gods rage, it is not thunder that we should fear. It is ourselves.

Manthan is a poignant and thought-provoking exploration of the intersection of oceanic wonders, ancient mythological themes, and the devastating impacts of consumerism, prompting introspective moments of recognition and reckoning. Sanghani’s canvases vividly capture the raw, suffocating terror of a world overwhelmed by its own waste, from plastic-entangled fish to gods in recoil. With a multidisciplinary background in fine arts, textiles, and graphic design, Sanghani reimagines the ancient myth of Samudra Manthan as a contemporary ecological cautionary tale, highlighting the dire consequences of human neglect. Her mixed-media works evoke a sense of both reverence and desecration, as seen in The New Manthan, where a sea turtle navigates through swirling waters as serpents and sea creatures maneuver through surreal mounds of plastic refuse, evoking a world where mythology reels under man-made disaster.

Sanghani’s artistic technique—lush, overflowing, almost seductive—draws viewers closer before confronting them with the brutality beneath. That brutality is not merely imagined. In a haunting set of personal experiments, Sanghani submerged herself in water with her face encased in plastic, attempting to inhabit the suffocating reality of marine creatures trapped in debris. “I became their voice,” she says. The image is devastating: a human being tasting the terror we force upon the ocean’s inhabitants daily. “Art cannot clean the oceans,” Sanghani notes, “but it can remind us of what they mean to us.” Manthan thus becomes a moral mirror.

Each piece elicits questions long buried beneath convenience and complacency. What are we taking from the ocean? What are we giving back? And what will surface next if we do not intervene? “I want to draw viewers in with beauty, only to expose the underlying unease,” she says. Manthan urges every visitor to face that discomfort, beginning their own inner churning toward awareness, responsibility, and renewal. Behold the new Manthan. Allow the radiance to enthrall you. Let the truth awaken your senses. For in this instance, the rainbow has fallen—and redemption is not assured. Nevertheless, there is still time.

Sanghani’s work is celebrated across the United States, India, and Puerto Rico, has won the Conceptual Artist of the Year Award from Art Comes Alive in Cincinnati, the Best Use of Theme Award from Reading Community Arts Center 2024, the Prestige Award from the University of Cincinnati, and the Garden Rotating Trophy from Sophia College, Mumbai. She has judged the Visual Arts Overture Awards for the Cincinnati Arts Association in 2024 and 2025. Her creations have been featured in the Cincinnati Enquirer, Atlanta Gazette, and more. But accolades aside, this show speaks louder than any trophy ever could.

Manthan was inaugurated on 1 December 2025 by distinguished guests, including Ms. Nidhi Choudhary, IAS, Artist, and Director, National Gallery of Modern Art, Mr. Sameer Balvally, founder of the award-winning architecture and interior design practice Studio Osmosis, Mr. Ronak Sutaria, CEO, Respirer Living Sciences, Mr. Rishiraj Sethi, Director, Aura Art Development Pvt Ltd and co-founder of Aura Art, Dilip Ranade, distinguished Indian artist and former Senior Curator at Mumbai’s CSMVS, and Prakash Bal Joshi, renowned artist and author.

किसी अभिनेत्री के लिए सबसे बड़ा अचीवमेंट खुद का ही रिकॉर्ड तोड़ना है। जी हाँ! इन दिनों एक के बाद एक बेहतरीन फ़िल्मों से अपनी एक अलग पहचान बनाते हुए अभिनेत्री ज्योति मिश्रा (Actress Jyoti Mishra) दर्शकों के बीच खूब लोकप्रियता बटोर रही है। साल 2025 की शुरुआत में जाने माने डायरेक्टर इश्तियाक शेख बंटी (Director Ishtiyaque Sheikh) निर्देशित भोजपुरी फ़िल्म ‘दुल्हन वही जो धन लाए’ (Bhojpuri Film Dulhan Wahi Jo Dhan Laye) से लेकर इस साल के आखिरी पड़ाव पर ब्लाक बस्टर भोजपुरी फिल्म ‘काला सिंदूर’ (Bhojpuri Film Kala Sindoor) देकर उन्होंने अपने अभिनय का लोहा मनवाया है। इस फिल्म की हाईएस्ट GRP लाकर सिनेतारिका ज्योति मिश्रा ने इस साल की शुरुआत में रिलीज हुई फ़िल्म ‘दुल्हन वही जो धन लाए’ की हाईएस्ट जीआरपी का रिकॉर्ड बनाने का अपना ही रिकॉर्ड फिल्म ‘काला सिंदूर’ की सबसे ज़्यादा Highest GRP लाकर तोड़ दिया है। फिल्म ‘काला सिंदूर’ में ज्योति मिश्रा का काम देख इंडस्ट्री के सभी लोगों ने उनकी एक्टिंग की जमकर तारीफ़ की है, तो वहीं दर्शकों ने उस फ़िल्म को सबसे ज़्यादा प्यार देते हुए टेलीविज़न पर चलने वाली साल 2025 की सबसे बेहतरीन फ़िल्म बना दी है।

गौरतलब है कि ज्योति मिश्रा से एक ख़ास बातचीत में उन्होंने बताया कि साल 2025 उनके लिए बहुत अच्छा रहा। उन्होंने कहा कि साल के आखिरी पड़ाव पर उन्होंने ‘चटोरी बहू 2’ और ‘पियरी’ जैसी खूबसूरत भोजपुरी फिल्म का शूट कम्पलीट किया है और आगे की तैयारी में उन्होंने बताया कि ‘एक रात की दुल्हन’ और ‘दुल्हन वही जो धन लाए 2’ की तैयारी में वो लगी हुई हैं। इन दोनों ही फिल्मों की शूटिंग साल 2026 की शुरुआत में होनी है।

Mumbai. Dr. Krishna Chouhan has been organizing the grand Bollywood Legend Awards for the past seven years. Now, for the seventh year, the Bollywood Legend Awards 2025 were organized by the Dr. Krishna Chouhan Foundation on December 1, 2025. This year, the awards ceremony was bigger and better than ever. Those who have made significant contributions to Indian cinema and its progress were honored with this award. Many celebrities attended the ceremony.

Actress Vandana K. Patil, who is making a name for herself in the Hindi and Marathi industries, is among the select few who are forging ahead with hard work, dedication, and a constant curiosity to learn. She has made an impact with her acting in every medium, including films, web series, TV shows, and music videos. She chose to buy a ticket because reaching work was her most important goal. She didn’t want to compromise her ideals by traveling without a ticket. Many times, breakfast would be over by the time she arrived on set, and she would shoot with complete dedication on an empty stomach. She believes that newcomers to the industry, those without a godfather, promise their parents that they will earn a name through hard work. However, many people, swayed by circumstances or influenced by others, end up going in the wrong direction. Vandana always advises to be patient, because opportunities, even if delayed, will surely come.

She says, “Don’t do anything against your conscience. Do something that makes you feel proud when you look at yourself in the mirror, not regretful.”

She further adds that there are struggles in this world of dreams, but when it does, it gives in abundance.

Vandana, a resident of Nashik, began her acting journey by chance when she came to Mumbai with her friend. There, she met her friend’s friend, a still photographer. A Marathi serial was being shot there. Suddenly, the serial’s team said, “Someone wants to do a two-line dialogue.” Vandana agreed, landing the role. Later, after seeing her on TV, her relatives and neighbors praised her profusely. This gave her the confidence to pursue acting. Back then, she didn’t even know the show was a hit Marathi serial. This moment changed the course of her career, and she made Mumbai her workplace.

Today, Vandana K. Patil is among those actresses who turn struggles into strengths, not weaknesses. वंदना का सफर जितना मजबूत है, उतना ही संघर्षों से भरा रहा है। शुरुआती दिनों में कई बार उनके पास खर्च करने के लिए सिर्फ दस रुपये ही रहते थे। ऐसे में खाना खाएँ या सफर के लिए टिकट लें। वह टिकट लेना चुनती थीं, क्योंकि उनके लिए काम तक पहुँचना ही सबसे बड़ा लक्ष्य था। बिना टिकिट यात्रा कर वह अपने आदर्शों से समझौता नहीं करना चाहती थी। कई बार सेट पर पहुँचते-पहुँचते ब्रेकफास्ट खत्म हो जाता था और वह भूखे पेट ही पूरे समर्पण के साथ शूट करती थीं। उनका मानना है कि इंडस्ट्री में जो नये कलाकार आते हैं। जिनका कोई गॉडफादर नहीं होता, वे अपने माता-पिता से वादा करके आते हैं कि मेहनत से नाम कमाएँगे। लेकिन कई लोग हालातों में बहकर या किसी की बातों में आकर गलत दिशा में चले जाते हैं। वंदना हमेशा यही सलाह देती हैं कि धैर्य रखो, क्योंकि अवसर देर से सही लेकिन मिलता ज़रूर है।

वह कहती हैं -“अपने जमीर के खिलाफ कोई काम मत करो। ऐसा काम करो कि आईने में खुद को देखकर गर्व महसूस हो, पछतावा नहीं।”

वह आगे कहती है कि इस मायानगरी में संघर्ष जरूर है मगर जब यह देती है तो छप्पड़ फाड़ के देती है।

नासिक की रहने वाली वंदना की अभिनय यात्रा एक इत्तेफाक से शुरू हुई, जब वह मुंबई अपनी सहेली के साथ आई, यहाँ उनकी मुलाकात उनकी सहेली के दोस्त से हुई। जो एक स्टील फोटोग्राफर हैं। वहां एक मराठी सीरियल की शूटिंग हो रही थी। अचानक सीरियल की टीम ने कहा कि दो लाइन का संवाद है कोई करना चाहता है वंदना ने हामी भरी और यह रोल उन्हें मिल गया । बाद में टीवी पर उनको देखकर उनके रिश्तेदारों और पड़ोसियों ने उनकी खूब प्रसंशा की। यही से उन्हें अभिनय की राह पर आगे बढ़ने का आत्मविश्वास मिला। तब उन्हें यह भी नहीं पता था कि वह शो मराठी का हिट सीरियल था। यही पल उनके करियर की दिशा बदल गया और उन्होंने मुंबई को अपनी कर्मभूमि बना लिया।

In this new body of work, Dadasaheb Yadav steps away from the representational terrains that once anchored his explorations of monsoon, earth, and the fragrant immediacy of Earth. Instead, he enters the atmospheric unknown; an arena where gesture becomes geography, colour becomes emotion, and abstraction becomes a language of its own unrestrained logic. These watercolour and mixed-media surfaces carry forward his lifelong fidelity to nature, but they no longer describe it; they distill it.

The works surge with washes of violet, viridian, cobalt, cadmium gold, and sudden explosions of black; strokes that feel like weather rather than depiction. Yadav has always been an artist tuned into elemental rhythms. Here, those rhythms unspool into pure energy. The paintings breathe in gradients, drips, and splashes, suggesting the moment before a storm breaks, the hush between waves, the twilight blur of sky dissolving into land. But this time, the harmony he invokes is not pastoral; it is kinetic, restless, charged with the honesty of lived experience.

These abstractions demonstrate an artist unafraid to cut away the literal. What remains is an emotional architecture: atmospheres rather than landscapes, sensations rather than scenes. The viewer is invited into a space where colour becomes memory, movement becomes intuition, and the boundary between internal and external worlds collapses. This is harmony understood not as quietude, but as equilibrium born out of flux, nature’s true state.

Yadav’s mature confidence is evident in his handling of fluid media: bleeding edges that resist containment, fields of pigment that collide yet hold their ground. His gestures feel both spontaneous and inevitable, as if the work knows how to form itself. The paintings echo the lineage of abstract expressionism yet remain unmistakably rooted in his own sensibility, devotional to nature but no longer beholden to its forms.

In these works, Dadasaheb Yadav offers viewers not a window to the world but a mirror to their own internal weather. The visual intensity, the chromatic rush, the raw immediacy, all converge into a profound reminder that harmony is not found; it is felt, encountered, and made anew each time the colours meet.

Noida, 16 November 2025: Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, hosted a special cultural showcase to mark the 36th Anniversary of the Velvet Revolution and the ongoing Slovak Cultural Days in India. The Embassy of the Slovak Republic in India, in collaboration with the Indo Slovak Film and Cultural Forum of ICMEI, organised a vibrant Festival of Slovak Films along with an Art and Photography Exhibition, celebrating the creativity, history, and cinematic excellence of Slovakia.

The festival was formally inaugurated by H.E. Robert Maxian, Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to India, who lit the ceremonial lamp to commence the proceedings. In his address, Ambassador Maxian highlighted the strength and global impact of the Slovak creative industry. He spoke about the power of cinema as a bridge between cultures, expressing pride in presenting Slovak storytelling, artistry, and heritage to Indian audiences.

A radiant Celebration of Light, Culture and Heritage took place on October 18th, 2025 at Gracie Mansion’s Conservancy in partnership with the International Museum of The Saree, Diwali was celebrated in style the Festival of Lights Tour. The afternoon opened with heartfelt remarks from Chioma Ohakam, GMC’s Director of Public Engagement, and guest speaker Dr. Vipul Patel, MD, who welcomed guests into “The People’s House.” They highlighted the importance of embracing cultural diversity, beauty, and unity within the historic halls of Gracie Mansion.

Guests were treated to an enchanting musical interlude by International Award Winning Artist world-renowned maestro Ustad Kamal Sabri, a leading figure in Indian Classical music. Performing on a 150-year-old sarangi passed down from his father, legendary Ustad Sabri Khan, Ustad Sabri’s soulful Diwali bhajans mesmerized the audience, bridging generations of musical tradition.

The evening continued with a moving poetic performance by Dr. Ashvini Persaud, who recited from the forthcoming  literary book “Saree To The New World” and its accompanying musical album. Dr. Persaud seamlessly wove together live poetry, audience participation, and musical collaboration with Ustad Kamal Sabri, transforming the moment into a living archive of art and connection. Wearing a vintage Gujarati saree featured in the International Museum of The Saree, she embodied the spirit of cultural preservation.

The event welcomed a beautifully diverse gathering, including leaders of International Museum of The Saree, Suriname Permanent Mission, BAPS Sri Swaminarayan Mandir, GPK Foundation, Bengali International Literary Society, Sri Chinmoy Mission, Hrudayam Arts, South Asian Diasporas and local New Yorkers.
