A solo exhibition by renowned artist Prof. Sunil Tambe, Principal of S.S.V.P.S. School of Art, Dhule, has been organized at the prestigious Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, from April 1 to April 7, 2025. This exhibition is based on the theme “Saathidar: Timeless Spiritual Longing, the Modern Woman, and Devotion.”

This show was inaugurated on 1st April 2025 by Prabhakar Kolte(eminent artist) in the presence of Kanwaljit Singh(veteran actor), Prakash Bal Joshi, Dolly Thakore, Dr. Sanjay Bhide, Vinay Patil, Vinod Bhadane, Shyambabu Naidu among others.

The exhibition explores the idea that Krishna is not just the ultimate goal of our spiritual journey—he is also our eternal companion. When one is immersed in devotion, an unbreakable attraction towards him arises. The soul longs to see him, to be near him, and to merge into his divine embrace. However, Krishna is not easily perceived by our physical senses; he is entirely spiritual, while our minds remain entangled in worldly attachments. Only through genuine devotion can we transcend to a higher spiritual state and experience his divine presence.

This idea is beautifully expressed in the Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 18, Verse 61):

“Ishvarah Sarvabhutanam Hriddeshe Arjuna Tishthati |

Bhramayan Sarvabhutani Yantrarudhani Mayaya ||”

“The Supreme Lord resides in the hearts of all beings, O Arjuna, and directs their wanderings according to their past karma, as if they were mounted on a machine made of material energy.”

Krishna is never far from us; he resides within our hearts, guiding us, waiting for us to turn towards him with devotion and surrender.

From Meera Bai to modern women, the eternal longing for Krishna has remained unchanged. The devotion that once illuminated Meera Bai’s heart still flows in the hearts of young women today. Krishna’s love is beyond the boundaries of time, and so is the longing for him.

Through his paintings, Prof. Tambe has beautifully expressed this eternal devotion. His artworks illustrate that just as Meera Bai was completely immersed in Krishna’s devotion, the modern woman too experiences the same spiritual longing today. The emotions in her eyes, the devotion that permeates her entire being—these paintings are not mere visual representations but profound spiritual experiences brought to life through art.

Santosh More’s Solo Exhibition Echoes of Metaphor at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai

Mumbai, India – Celebrated contemporary artist Santosh More is poised to unveil his latest solo exhibition, Echoes of Metaphor, at the esteemed Jehangir Art Gallery from 1st April to 6th April. This evocative showcase delves into the fluidity of visual consciousness, where fleeting memories, ethereal harmonies, and the profound vastness of nature coalesce, offering an immersive exploration of abstraction and introspection.

The book How to become a Disciplined artist, written by artist Santosh More, was released and his paintings exhibition was inaugurated on 1^st April 2025 by Hon. More’s artistic lexicon is deeply interwoven with his early captivation by the natural world and the cultural vibrancy of his homeland. His compositions manifest as dynamic, formless entities—an interplay of imperceptible forces that converge, dissolve, and reconstitute in silent dialogue. These amorphous structures, shifting and intermingling, resonate with an almost meditative cadence, giving birth to a visual language that transcends the constraints of representation.

In Echoes of Metaphor, More’s work resists definitive interpretation, instead beckoning viewers into an open-ended engagement with ambiguity. His paintings do not dictate meaning but rather invite contemplation, allowing each observer to unearth personal resonances within the interplay of form and space. The exhibition embodies an aesthetic philosophy of surrender and rediscovery—an odyssey into the liminal realms between the tangible and the intangible, between the seen and the unspoken.

With a career spanning over three decades, Santosh More has firmly established himself as a significant voice in contemporary abstraction. A BFA graduate from Mumbai University, his practice is distinguished by its seamless fusion of abstract expression and nuanced metaphorical depth. His works have been exhibited at some of the country’s most prestigious institutions, including Jehangir Art Gallery, CIMA Gallery, Gallery Art & Soul, Gallery Articulate, Gallery Guild, and the Bombay Art Society, earning him wide acclaim and numerous accolades.

The statue of Dadasaheb Phalke, the father of Indian cinema, is yet to be installed in any state of India. Today, the film industry celebrates 112 years of cinema, but his image is not widely represented in film halls, studios, or homes of industry professionals. These points were raised during the event. However, it was promised by all the esteemed dignitaries present, including MPs, Ministers, and State representatives, that Dadasaheb Phalke’s statue will soon be installed in various states, including a 9-foot statue in Guwahati, Assam, supported by Shri Rameshwar Teli Ji and Shri Lord Das Ji. The statue of Dadasaheb Phalke, the father of Indian cinema, is yet to be installed in any state of India. Today, the film industry celebrates 112 years of cinema, but his image is not widely represented in film halls, studios, or homes of industry professionals. These points were raised during the event. However, it was promised by all the esteemed dignitaries present, including MPs, Ministers, and State representatives, that Dadasaheb Phalke’s statue will soon be installed in various states, including a 9-foot statue in Guwahati, Assam, supported by Shri Rameshwar Teli Ji and Shri Lord Das Ji. उमरगा/धाराशिव: पुणे हडपसर गुड़ी पड़वा और वीरशैव कैकया महाराज जयंती के पावन अवसर पर उमरगा और धाराशिव में भव्य आयोजनों का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें गणमान्य व्यक्तियों की उपस्थिति रही। इस विशेष मौके पर संघमित्रा गायकवाड (आरपीआई अठावले गट की चीफ सेक्रेटरी और फिल्म प्रोड्यूसर) को सम्मानित किया गया। उनके सामाजिक कार्यों और समाज के प्रति योगदान को देखते हुए, उन्हें इस सम्मान से नवाजा गया।

उमरगा में भव्य आयोजन

World News | New York | New Delhi: In a landmark move to expand global academic collaboration, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University (DDUGU), under the visionary leadership of its Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Poonam Tandon, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the American University for Global Peace (AUGP), USA & United Nations University For Global Peace (UNUGP), USA.

This prestigious event was held in conjunction with the United Nations International Zero Waste Day, focusing on the crucial theme: “Environment & Society for Establishing Global Peace to Build Sustainable, Developed, and Strong Nations.” The seminar emphasized the urgent need for environmental sustainability as a fundamental pillar of global peacebuilding and nation development. Thought leaders, policymakers, and academicians gathered to discuss actionable strategies for reducing environmental waste, fostering sustainable development, and promoting a harmonious global society through education and international cooperation.

Mumbai : Senior leader of RPI (Athawale Group), Sanghamitra Tai Gaikwad, organized various welfare programs  Maharashtra Pune on the occasion of the death anniversary of her late father, Tulsiram Gundaji Gaikwad. Since his passing on March 26, 1985, she has dedicated this day every year to serving the underprivileged, keeping his values of social service alive.

Educational Material Distribution for Students – A Step Towards a Brighter Future

Understanding that education is the foundation of social progress, Sanghamitra Tai distributed notebooks, books, pens, slates, and other educational materials to needy students across Maharashtra. This initiative aimed to support children in their academic journey and provide them with essential resources.

Support for Orphanages and Old Age Homes

Essential items like food, clothing, fruits, and ration kits were distributed to orphanages and old age homes. Special efforts were made to ensure that orphans received toys, clothes, and snacks, while the elderly were provided with daily necessities to improve their quality of life.

Ration and Essential Supplies for the Poor

यह चौदह सौ साल पहले की कहानी है, जिसमें देवी-देवताओं की मूर्ति पूजा का विरोध और एक ईश्वर में दृढ़ विश्वास दर्शाया गया है। बिलाल अपनी माँ और अपनी छोटी बहन घुफ़ैरा के साथ गाँव के बाहरी इलाके में शांतिपूर्ण जीवन व्यतीत करता है, जब तक कि बीजान्टिन सैनिक आकर उन्हें गुलाम नहीं बना लेते और उसकी माँ को मार नहीं देते।

बचपन में उसे मक्का शहर के सबसे अमीर आदमी उमय्याह को गुलाम के तौर पर बेच दिया जाता है, जो कुरैश के नेताओं में से एक है। उमय्याह का बेटा सफ़वान अपने दोस्तों के साथ मिलकर बिलाल की बहन घुफ़ैरा को धमका रहा है और उसे तीर से मारने ही वाला है कि बिलाल बीच में आकर उसे बचा लेता है। उमय्याह को अपने एक व्यापारी से इस बारे में पता चलता है और वह बिलाल को उसकी क्रूरता की याद दिलाता है और फिर गार्ड को उसे कोड़े मारने का आदेश देता है। उसके बाद, उमय्याह सफ़वान को एक गुलाम से हारने और उसे शर्मिंदा करने के लिए थप्पड़ मारता है।

एक दिन, बिलाल एक भूखे युवा लड़के को मूर्ति के कटोरे से चोरी करने से रोकता है ताकि उसे मक्का के पुजारी के पहरेदारों की पिटाई से बचाया जा सके। वह बदले में लड़के को अपना खाना देता है। उसकी दयालुता को अबू बकर देखता है, जो सभी के लिए समानता में विश्वास करता है और बिलाल में महानता देखता है। हालाँकि, बिलाल को उस पर और उसकी मान्यताओं पर संदेह है, वह ऐसा भविष्य नहीं देख पा रहा है जहाँ गुलामों के साथ उचित व्यवहार किया जाता हो। बिलाल अपने विश्वास को स्वीकार करता है कि केवल एक ईश्वर है। वह यह भी सीखता है कि उमय्या जैसे लोग भी गुलाम हैं, उनका स्वामी लालची है।

In the medical camp organized by RK HIV AIDS Research and Care Center, 2 advanced cardiac ambulances were launched on 25th March 2025, which were received under the CSR of Shipping Corporation of India, which will be managed by the team of RK HIV AIDS Research and Care Center in different parts of Mumbai. It has been started for the needy. The organization will try to provide the benefit of this free ambulance service to the needy of Mumbai. Actor producer director Dheeraj Kumar as the chief guest, President of RK HIV AIDS Research and Care Center Dr. Dharmendra Kumar and DGM of Shipping Corporation of India Meena Karai, Deputy Manager Deepak Jagtikni along with Mahendra Poddar President Chitrakoot Maidan, Mahesh Manwani, District TB Officer of Mumbai Sunil ji were present in this program. International Women’s Day (IWD) is celebrated on the 8th of March every year around the world. It is a focal point in the movement for women’s rights. After women gained suffrage in Soviet Russia in 1917, March 8 was predominantly celebrated by the socialist movement and communist countries until it was adopted by the feminist movement in about 1967. The United Nations began celebrating the day in 1977.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day on 8th March, 2025, the Progressive Foundation of Human Rights (PFHR) organised a National Convention on the theme of the International Day – “For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment” at Hotel Citizen, Juhu, Mumbai, wherein renowned personalities of the country and representatives from 28 states participated. This National Convention is being organised by Progressive Foundation of Human Rights for the last 19 years.

“Let us celebrate the birth of the girl child. We should be equally proud of our daughters. I urge you to sow five plants when your daughter is born to celebrate the occasion,” said honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. Women are underprivileged in different ways in different societies. The causes of suppression of women — social, economic and political — are deep within not only Indian culture, but many cultures throughout the world. Violations of human rights of women have varied manifestations.

The majority of crimes against women under the Indian penal code were cruelty by husband or his relatives (31.4 per cent) followed by kidnapping and abduction of women (19.2 per cent), assault on women with intent to outrage her modesty (18.7per cent) ,and rape (7.1per cent),the NCRB stated. It is high time that the society at large wake up and understand that it can’t survive without respecting women and no society can be called a civilised society if it disrespects the womenfolk.

The program was presided over by President of Progressive Foundation of Human Rights and Actor Shri Rakesh Pandey.

S K Singh Rajput didn’t become a director overnight. His path included early learning and big breaks during his tv serials acting also he was fully involved in scripting and crative department too. He successfully shot and completed that ad film there with all the experienced team support.
