बरक़रार रहा अंजना सिंह का जादू ...

अपने आगमन के पहले साल में ही 17 फिल्मे साइन कर चर्चा बटोर चुकी   और हॉट केक का खिताब पा चुकी अंजना सिंह का जलवा लगातार पांचवे साल भी बरक़रार है । 2011 में रवि किशन के साथ भोजपुरिया परदे पर कदम रखने वाली अंजना सिंह की इस साल पांच फिल्मे रिलीज़ हुई जिनमे जुबली स्टार निरहुआ के साथ दो फिल्में  मोकामा 0 किलोमीटर और बेटा शामिल है जबकि सुपर स्टार खेसारी लाल यादव के साथ उनकी फिल्म दबंग आशिक रिलीज़ हुई ।इसी तरह विराज भट्ट और राकेश मिश्रा के साथ दिल है कि मानता नहीं  और उनकी अभी तक की सर्वश्रेष्ठ भूमिका वाली फिल्म हीरो गमछावाला रिलीज़ हुई । इन फिल्मों में हीरो गमछा वाला में पागल लड़की की एक यादगार भूमिका के कारण फ़िल्मी पंडितो और आम दर्शको में उन्हें काफी अच्छा प्रतिसाद मिला । इसी तरह मोकामा 0 किलोमीटर में सयानी चतुर्वेदी नाम की एक कॉलगर्ल की भूमिका के कारण भी उन्होंने खूब वाहवाही लूटी ।

इसी साल अंजना ने कई अन्य फिल्मो की भी शूटिंग की जिनमे रवि किशन के साथ शहंशाह , विराज भट्ट के साथ गुंडे , त्रिशूल और रवि सिन्हा की सन ऑफ़ बिहार आदि शामिल है । अपने आगमन के इस पांचवे साल में अंजना ने अपने फिल्मो की हाफ सेंचुरी भी लगाईं है । शहंशाह अंजना की पचासवीं फिल्म बन गई है । दिलचस्प बात तो यह है कि पहली और पचासवीं फिल्म यानि दोनों ही फिल्मो में उनके हीरो रवि किशन ही हैं ।कुल मिलाकर कहा जा सकता है कि अंजना ने लगातार पांचवे साल भी अपना जादू बरक़रार रखा है ।

BHAAGYA  NA JAANE KOI Ready For An Early Release

Status Air Vision’s Bhaagya Na Jaane Koi ( in Hindi and Avadhi languages), produced by Sushila Bhatia and directed and edited  by Dilip Gulati is now complete after 30 days  shooting stint in Lucknow locales. Co-producer: Himmat Bhatia. EP: Satyen Bhatia.

Dubbing of the film has also been completed at Studio DG 9 which is  Dilip Gulati’s own Recording Studios,Bhagat Singh Nagar, Goregaon,Mumbai  on December15th . The final mixing of sound -tracks and DI work has also begun on  16th December  and the first copy will be out digitally by the first week of Jan 2017.

The film is  being planned for January /February 2017 release is based on the true story written by wellknown legendary author Munshi Premchand from his two largest selling novels KAFAN and NIRMALA.

Renowned actor Rajpal Yadav, veteran actor Sadhu Meher, Netra Raghuraman, Anita Sehgal and Roopa Mishra are playing the main roles in this film. Screenplay-dialogue: Paras Jaiswal. यशराज स्टूडियो में क्या गुल खिला रहे हैं करण अनारा ...

ग्लैमर वर्ल्ड की हॉट जोड़ी करण सिंह प्रिंस और अनारा गुप्ता इन दिनों अक्सर यशराज स्टूडियो में देखी जा रही है । खुद उनदोनो ने ही सोशल मीडिया पर इसका फोटो डाल कर इसका खुलासा किया है पर किसी फोटो में यशराज स्टूडियो लगातार जाने का मकसद नहीं बताया गया है । उल्लेखनीय है कि करण सिंह प्रिंस और अनारा गुप्ता इन दिनों अपनी बहुचर्चित फिल्म दिल है हिंदुस्तानी के प्री प्रोडक्शन में व्यस्त है । दोनों जहां फिल्म में अपनी भूमिका के हिसाब से खुद को तैयार कर रहे हैं वहीँ फिल्म के लेखन और संगीत में भी अपना इनपुट दे रहे हैं । फिल्म के निर्देशक हैं पराग पाटिल जबकि संगीतकार हैं रजनीश मिश्रा और लेखक हैं राकेश त्रिपाठी ।

भोजपुरीं फिल्मो की खूबसूरत अदाकारा प्रियंका पंडित ने 2016  का अंतिम दिन बिहार के अपने फैंस के साथ सेलिब्रेट किया और नए साल का स्वागत काफी धमाल मचा कर किया.दरअशल प्रियंका पहली बार बिहार में अपना शो करने गयी थी और वह 31 दिसंबर की शाम .अपने शो के दौरान प्रियंका ने अपने फैंस के साथ 2016  को अंतिम विदाई दी और साथ ही 2017  का वेलकम काफी धमाल मचा कर किया.प्रियंका के साथ इस स्टेज शो में अरविन्द अकेला कल्लू भी थे और दोनों की जोड़ी ने एक साथ मिलकर बिहारवाशियो का खूब मनोरंजन किया.

श्रेयष फिल्म्स के बैनर तले बन रही बहुचर्चित फिल्म ‘आतंकवादी ‘ की शूटिंग पिछले दिनों मुम्बई के मढ़ में संभावना सेठ के आइटम सांग के साथ पूरी की गयी.सुपरस्टार खेसारी लाल और शुभी शर्मा  मुख्य अभिनीत इस फिल्म में पहली बार खेसारी लाल एक आतंकवादी की भूमिका में नजर आएँगे .फिल्म की शूटिंग के अंतिम दिन फिल्म को शुभकामनाये देने पहुचे मलाड इलाके के विधायक अशलम शेख,जिन्होंने फिल्म के निर्माता प्रेम राय और उनकी पूरी टीम को इस फिल्म के लिए ढेर सारी शुभकामनाये दी.इस फिल्म की शूटिंग के अंतिम दिन पूरी की पूरी स्टार कास्ट और क्रू मेंबर को निर्माता प्रेम राय ने गिफ्ट देकर सम्मानित भी किया.

3  दिसंबर को इस फिल्म की शूटिंग गुजरात में शुरू की गयी थी और ३१ दिसंबर ,यानी साल की आखिरी दिन इस फिल्म की शूटिंग मुम्बई में पूरी की गयी .शूटिंग के अंतिम दिन एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस आयोजित कर निर्माता प्रेम राय ने इस फिल्म के सभी कलाकारों और पूरी यूनिट को गिफ्ट देकर सम्मानित किया और नए साल की ढेर सारी शुभयकामनाये दी.यह फिल्म मार्च तक प्रदर्शित की जाएगी .

Bhagvita Gita Should be Declared as National Book: Filmmaker Deepak Saraswat backs SushmaSwaraj by his Views...

At the occasion of ‘Gita PrernaMahotsav’ a new row was created to seek national scripture status for Bhagvad Gita.

Speaking about the same, filmmaker Director Deepak Sharma Saraswat, told us that Bhagvad Gita has bunch of flowers woven together to form beautiful garland. It is divine nectar with a scientific approach for both ephemeral and eternal world of human life.

To be noted Director Deepak Sharma Saraswat has been associated with Rashtra Hindu Sangathan and have always been vocal about his views on religion and politics. When External Affairs Minister SushmaSwaraj triggered the cause, it created a rage among the supporters of aggressive Hindu Sangthans.

“Irrespective of religion people have praised the greatness of Bhagvad Gita. This holy book calls of action to meet obligations and duties of life. The best thing is that it maintains the spiritual touch which is the basis of human life”, said Deepak Saraswat while talking about allowingBhagvad Gita as a compulsory subject in schools.

According to him, every child should know the importance of culture. He also said that Bhagvad Gita helps him to move from state of confusion to state of clear vision. Hindu saints have told us that if you wish to attain salvation, Bhagvad Gita is the simplest way. Gita is followed by western scholars and even multinational companies are resorting to Gita for management lessons.

Filmmaker Deepak Saraswat vociferously promoting the idea of declaring Bhagvad Gita a national scripture as he believes that dis courses of any great Indian saint are always inspired by the greatest teachings of Gita. He also supported the saints who are providing the knowledge of Gita in simple manner.

Sushma Swaraj has also said,” Bhagavad Gita has answers to everybody’s problems and that’s why I said it while standing in the Parliament that, ‘ShrimadBhagwad Gita’ should be declared as the national holy book.”

“Everyone should read two shlokas of Gita everyday… It is a scripture of 700 shlokas and it can be finished in a year. Read it again and continue this till the end. After reading it three to four times, you will discover a path to lead a life, the way I discovered,” she said.

Swaraj also advised psychiatrists to read and prescribe the Gita to patients suffering from depression.

Her views though have not found favour with the Opposition.

While the Trinamool Congress said that the Constitution was the only ‘holy book’ in a democracy, the Congress noted that the essence of the Gita lies in its substance and not in its symbolism.

For an emerging country like India, development of underprivileged children holds the key to the progress of the nation itself, and their education is the cornerstone of this progress. But education for children cannot be achieved without ensuring the welfare of the family – a child can go to school regularly only when the family, particularly the mother is healthy and empowered; the family has decent livelihood opportunities and a steady income.
Realizing this, Creative Connection’s, beginning in the corridors of education, will soon adopt a life cycle approach with intensive programmes focused on family health, livelihood and women empowerment, which address the needs of children, their families and the larger community.

Talk on Indian epics and tales from lesser known cultures and continents at India Habitat Centre...

The Katha Project will be organizing a talk on Tracking the Epics on February 19^th (Friday) 2016 at Amaltas in the India Habitat Centre, Lodhi road, New Delhi by Mythologist Utkarsh Patel and the author of the book “Shakuntala- The Woman Wronged”.

The talk will discuss the two most popular Indian epics, Ramayan and Mahabharat and the many versions which exists across the Indian sub-continent.

Registrations are free and on a first come first serve basis. The talk will begin at 7:00 p.m. and guests are expected to be seated by 6:45 p.m. Those who wish to attend can send an email to thekathaproject@gmail.com

About the talk: The Ramayana tradition has enjoyed a unique popularity throughout the subcontinent of South Asia (comprising the modern states of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka) and beyond – for versions of the tale have flourished in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Though it is not the same for Mahabharata, probably due to its sheer size and complexity, Mahabharat too has had its share of versions, especially with reference to certain episodes if not the whole text. The talk will aim to capture this diversity and will bring forth the many interesting versions and tales from lesser known cultures and continents through an hour long interactive session.

About The Katha Project: The Katha Project is an experimental project in the area of comparative mythology and ancient history. The Project’s aim is to bring mythology and history to life through the art of storytelling and narration. This is mainly through talks, debates and interactive sessions about ancient ruins, places, beliefs and art forms with mythological or historical significance. Talking about the video, Bejoy said, “It’s got the fire starter quality to it. I deliberately wanted to get out of a narrative based approach and try and do something completely different in the treatment. The style and the grandness was planned to give the video a wider appeal”.

The name of the trust is “KHAYYAM PRADEEP JAGJIT KAUR (KPJ Charitable Trust)” to extend a helping hand to all needy & aspiring people from Music Fraternity. Khayyam Saab has given away his entire wealth for the trust. Khayyam Saab also announced renowned Ghazal singer Talat Aziz as one of the trustees of “KHAYYAM PRADEEP JAGJIT KAUR TRUST (KPJ Charitable Trust)” .

Khayyam Saab was the only Music Composer whose composition Begum Akhtar recorded for HMV in her entire career. Khayyam was still to deliver his best and the opportunity came in Muzaffar Ali’s Umrao Jaan in 1981. He made Asha Bhonsle sing songs which are indisputably her best. “In Aankhon ki masti ke”, “Ye Kya Jagah hai doston” and “Dil Cheez kya hai” are evergreen.

Khayyam Saab, who never kept a team of assistants, credits his success to his beloved wife Jagjit Kaur & his son Late Pradeep whose been a part of his musical journey applauding them as his greatest strength and inspiration. Khayyam Saab was always effusive with his praise for his wife Jagjit Kaur. She may have been behind the scenes but was a key element in Khayyam Saab’s success. It seems appropriate to recognize their partnership with the only film song they sang together ‘Kab Yaad Mein Tera Saath Nahin’ (Anjuman, 1986).

Cinematographer turned Director Amitabha Singh, organized a fun trip for children from Nehru Nagar public school, Kanjur Marg East to explore Mumbai’s very own biodiversity and natural environment. Amitabha directed SHORTCUT SAFAARI with a view to reconnect children with their roots and showcasing the natural world amidst the humdrum and chaos of daily city life.

SHORTCUT SAFAARI has made its presence felt over various National and International children’s film festivals across the country and now the film has embarked upon a new journey to connect as many children as possible to nature through various innovative activities and screenings. With SHORTCUT SAFAARI, Amitabha consolidates his position in the children’s film category. He has earlier helmed the camera for CHILLAR PARTY, KHOSLA KA GHOSLA and India’s Oscar entry in 2014- THE GOOD ROAD.

Talking about the event, Amitabha Said, “The core message underlying the film is balance, trust, friendship, mutual respect, teamwork and gender parity. Without sounding preachy, I wanted to acquaint children with a value system which will help them go a long way. In fact, if you look at Jataka tales or folklore, they are beautiful stories and you would always remember the moral of the story. Similarly through my film I would want children to take away a few leanings.”

Singh added, “The Natural World is trying to speak to the manufactured world all the time but somehow, we seem to miss that call almost always. The result is quite evident, global warming, sea level rising, you see the season change getting erratic. Nature has started revolting in this own little way. I read a report in a magazine that twenty years from now Mumbai will be under water. We should really take cognizance of these little signs that nature is leaving for us and resort to course correction.”

The children enjoyed the nature trail and were almost surprised that a forest existed within the city limits of Mumbai.  City kids were joined by bloggers and social media influencers to experience a real nature trail. Topics on the surrounding flora and fauna were discussed alongside a tree adoption plan.

Sachin Parikh: Attracting eyeballs worldwide‏

Actor Sachin Parikh – a known face in theater, television and ad world, is on a versatility route in Bollywood and rightly is attracting good eyeballs. The talented award winning actor’s big screen innings started with Sunny Deol starrer KAAFILA in 2007 and the actor is set to showcase his versatility quotient in his forthcoming ISHQ FOREVER, LOVESHHUDA and ALIGARH.

Sachin who shared screen with the perfectionist Aamir Khan in PK is optimistic about his roles in LOVESHHUDA – playing Tisca Chopra’s husband having an interesting shade to his character that moves with the plot. Mumbai: India’s smartest out-of-home agency, Global Advertisers has put up large display for upcoming bollywood film Ishq Forever. It’s a romantic and musical film directed by Sameer Sippy. They had organized a party at Juhu Club Millennium, Vile Parle (w), Mumbai on 10^th February 2016.  The event was attended by film star cast Lisa Ray, newcomer Krishna Chaturvedi, Ruhi Singh and Sanjeev Gupta,MD of Global Advertisers.

Journalists are heroes to Liev Schreiber in Oscar nominated film SPOTLIGHT‏...

Liev Schreiber invests his portrayal of Boston Globe executive editor Marty Baron with a quiet resoluteness that writer Josh Singer observed while researching the film. The role landed Schreiber a Screen Actors Guild award along with his co-stars. He stated on social media “Thanks Marty this one’s for you.”, “So proud to share a screen with this incredibly generous and talented group of actors. There is no greater reward.”

Talking about meeting the real Marty, screen writer, Singer added, “When I interviewed Marty in Washington, D.C., he had a Post-It note in his office that read ‘I am not warm and fuzzy.’ Marty doesn’t care at all about who he’s going to piss off. His job is to get the story.”

Schreiber, who was recently nominated for an Emmy® for his performance in the title role of Showtime’s crime drama “Ray Donovan,” instantly gravitated to the uncompromising character of Baron. “One of the film’s most exciting aspects for me came about when I got the opportunity to take the train down to Washington and meet Marty Baron,” says Schreiber. “It was a treat to spend time with him and really understand the dire straits a lot of newspapers in this country find themselves in. In fact, that’s one reason I love this script so much—it really champions newspapers and journalists.

“Marty and the other journalists in this story are heroes to me,” the actor continues. “Having spoken to Marty, one thing I realized is that his job was all-consuming. He didn’t care where the story took him. Marty likes a fight and he doesn’t back down and he was willing to take on very intimidating people and organizations to get at the truth.”

Liev Schreiber is noted for his films like X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Taking Woodstock, Salt and more recently Pawn Sacrifice.

Nisha Rawal’s Musical Valentine’s gift

Actor turned singer Nisha Rawal has scored her fourth cover as her ode to love this valentine’s season. The romantic track is a mash up of the song, Meherbani from film The Shaukeens composed by Arko and the chartbuster English number; Love me like you do by the international pop sensation Ellie Goulding.

The cover song captures the mood of the month- a perfect Valentine tune which is supported by a classy video, directed by none other than, Karan Mehra. Nisha has always been a romantic at heart and the season of romance is best defined by music.

Music has become an integral part of Nisha’s life and what was once passion has now become a profession. Music lovers today, are quickly moving beyond the barriers of language and Nisha has captured this transition greatly with a mash up of ‘Meherbani’ and ‘Love me like you do’. The two songs are seamlessly merging with a flawless music arrangement. With regular training in classical music and riyaaz, Nisha has effortlessly delivered both the tracks from different genres and languages.

Speaking on her latest musical offering, Nisha said, “I love both these songs to the core. It was during our brain storming sessions that I was humming these songs and suddenly it struck us how will it be if we mash up these two songs. I had never imagined that the songs will be this good together. I immediately reached out to my mentor, Meet bros duo and they loved the idea, which off course boosted my confidence. Both the songs have a similar message but the route of expressing differs. Together they create a perfect harmony”.

The song is shot outdoor in a beautiful & quaint location. The video opens with an aerial shot capturing the scale and the vast expanse of the beautiful location. The singer is looking gorgeous in a classic scarlet gown created by ace designer Rohit Verma. “I have designed this gown specially for Nisha’s music video. We wanted the look to be classic yet edgy. Nisha is just looking stunning in the gown.”

Talking about the video, Karan said, “The video was our way to celebrate valentine’s season. Both of us have very hectic schedules and we really wanted to spend some quality time together. I took on the task of directing because I felt working together would be a fresh way to celebrate valentine’s season. It also gave us a lot of creative satisfaction to really build on something together”.

The music video will be available on Nisha’s youtube channel and it is a purely non commercial venture, celebrating love and Nisha’s passion for music.
