Award winning Ayurveda expert & motivational speaker  – Acharya Manish, has initiated a social campaign to counter the spread of COVID 19. Acharya Manish uses age-old therapies of Ayurveda to promote the 5000 – years – old vedic science. It is noteworthy that Acharya Manish has founded ‘Shuddhi Ayurveda’ an Ayurvedic Clinic & Research Centre at Zirakpur. ‘Shuddhi Ayurveda’ already has presence across India through 105 clinics which are helping patients adopt Ayurveda to counter all type of diseases.

It is noteworthy that ‘Shuddhi Ayurveda’ has a presence in Delhi NCR with 5 clinics in Delhi, 3 in Gurugram and 1 each in Faridabad & Noida.

To fight against COVID 19 an intense research conducted by Ayurvedic doctors under the guidance of Acharya Manish was done and an immunity boosting pack – ‘Shuddhi Herbal Immunity Package’ was made. Using this pack & specialised anti COVID medications Acharya Manish started an initiative to help needy people, who were not able to afford expensive medicines, against the n Coronavirus. A helpline number 8273183731 was established , where calls from across the country were and are still being received and already as many as 500 needy people have asked for the package & customised medicines all of which are certified by AYUSH.

Acharya Manish said, “As the pandemic has struck the whole world, millions of people have lost their jobs. People infected with the virus don’t even have money for their medical treatment. Therefore we decided to conduct a social initiative and distribute our anti COVID combo free to COVID patients.”

He highlighted, “In the combo we have included three medicines, Vish Har Ras, thirty two (32) herbs tea and Ayush Kwath. Vish Har Ras has major ingredients like Neem & Giloy, which have high antiviral properties. The tea contains 32 medicinal herbs like elaichi, dalchini which have antioxidant properties and Ayush Kwath contains tulsi, pepper and shunthi which help in increasing immunity. I am happy to say that many of the COVID 19 patients turned negative in just 3-4 days of using our immunity booster pack and other medicines.”

It is pertinent to state  that many elated patients’ who turned negative in just 3-4 days of taking the medication sent back videos of their experience and also advocated adopting Ayurveda for a healthy lifestyle.

Patients who benefitted were not only spread across Delhi NCR but even states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, UP, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Himachal and West Bengal. Beneficiaries included those with COVID like symptoms, those who wanted to protect themselves from the disease and Corona positive patients. As many as 100 COVID positive patients turned negative after 3 days to a week of using the medicines.

When Corona entered India, Acharya Manish had told the central government that with the help of Ayurveda, the disease can be prevented, PM Modi himself also announced that with the help of Ayurveda one can increase the immunity to prevent the virus infection.

“The sad part is that even in the land where Ayurveda was born –India, the science has always been given lesser importance than Allopathy. But now due to benefits people are witnessing from Ayurveda in countering COVID 19, Ayurveda is again getting recognition and it is a matter of time before Ayurveda becomes a preferred treatment protocol in India.” Opined Acharya Manish.

Ignited by the idea of promoting Ayurveda as a way of life and to make the saying ‘Vocal for Local’ a reality in India’s healthcare sector, Acharya Manish has chalked out an ambitious expansion plan for ‘Shuddhi Ayurveda’. Under this, over 200 centres in addition to the existing 105 clinics of ‘Shuddhi Ayurveda’ will be set up by this year end.

From the film diary of Pratush… India has become independent from the British rule but even today our souls are mentally enslaved as the budding talents are getting unnoticed in our country. Today all the resources that take our country to a pinnacle of  advanced level have become reserved after independence. I believe in a country where capable individuals are not given any opportunity or don’t get the desired result according to your calibre means the souls of those talented individuals are also enslaved and by doing so no nation can succeed but will only give rise to a new revolution.     Sushant Singh Rajput, a poster boy, his passing away suggest two things, either become a slave of some self proclaimed gate keeper of the bollywood or be happy with whatever u have achieved.    Though we strongly believe that committing suicide is not the right thing but never the less bollywood companies are running their business in their own way. Whether it is a film or television, they decide on whom they want to make a Star while more often the talented ones get rejected.     But Sushant Singh Rajput”s sacrifice has inspired new comers and producers like us to be more self dependent and vigilant, which probed us to launch our Music company “Soul Node” and OTT platform “YD”.    It will be our endeavour to give opportunity and encouragement to the new talents.

This decision was not made overnight since I have been working and struggling in this film and television freternity for more than a decade now, I have realised that to be successful in this industry, u have to be strong and competent in every manner to prove your mettle.  it has been a great learning experience which led us to form our own production house “PSJ (Pratush, Sumit ,Jai ) Media Vision”.  We began our journey with our first venture, producing a Marathi feature film “Pinga” and successfully completed the first schedule. Second schedule is in the pipeline.

The decision to come out with a press release had to be taken as many of the grievances on working conditions/ payment terms/ duty hours which were submitted to the Producers association through series of joint meetings and communications earlier did not result in any positive reverts from them. There is still uncertainty looming large.

Though we have always assured our best support to them they have not taken our concurrence on many issues resulting in lack of clarity and confusions. Many producers are taking unilateral steps of calling our members for shoot, this has only created a feeling of unrest and misguidance amongst the members, even before resumptions of shoot.

FWICE and CINTAA which has scores of members enrolled in the cadres of Actors, Technicians & Workers need immediate changes implemented in the working system/payment terms before any resumption of shoots.

Post COVID-19 the working system would change for all with probable health challenges and drop in immunity levels hence it is all the more important that all our concerns are suitably addressed.

It is highly regretted to note that even after the strict directives issued by the I & B ministry to all the producers to clear the outstanding dues of the actors, workers and technicians pending prior to the announcement of the lockdown by the Government amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Producers have still not cleared the outstanding dues of our members. All the outstanding dues of our members should be cleared prior to the resumption of the shootings.

Shift hours. Strictly to be 8 hours per day.

#Payments to daily paid actors/ technicians/ workers has to be settledv end of the day.

#All contractual employees have to be paid in 30 days.

#Conveyance has to be settled end of the dayv

#Mandatory weekly holiday

#Adherence to stringent health and safety protocols as per directives ofv the Government.

#Insurance: Healthv & Life Insurance with Covid-19 specific coverage. We demand a 50-lac cover for actors / workers /technicians who succumb to death.

#No pay cuts/discounts will be agreed by Actors/ workers /techniciansv post resuming to work.

#No actor/ technicians/ workers would be replaced for refusing givingv discounts on their emoluments.

#Deployment of a well-equipped ambulance along with a Paramedicalv staff (Nurse) and a Doctor at the location

#All the above-mentioned issues have to be resolved first so that there is complete clarity to all, be it actors/ workers or technicians.

 No one can risk the lives of human resources and for us at FWICE AND CINTAA certainly not.
