30 अगस्त 2018 को प्रेस क्लब रायपुर में आयोजितएक प्रेस कॉन्फरेंस में फिल्म छत्तीसगढ़:-ए न्यूमिस्मैटिक हिस्टोरी’ का पोस्टर व् टीज़र जारी किया गया! इस फिल्म की शूटिंग जून माह में रायपुर में ही की गयी थी जिसमे डॉ० भानु प्रताप सिंह के संग्रह में से छत्तीसगढ़ के स्थानीय राजाओं द्वारा जारी किये गए सिक्कों पर यह फिल्म बनायीं गयी है! इस अवसर पर फिल्म से सम्बंधित सभी लोग उपस्थित थे जिसमे प्रोडूसर आदित्य प्रताप सिंह, डायरेक्टर व् लेखक डॉ० भानु प्रताप सिंह व् अभिनेत्री अस्मिता अरोरा थीं!

सातवीं सदी ईसा पूर्व से शुरू होगी कहानी:-
प्रेस कांफ्रेंस को संबोधित करते हुए फिल्म के डायरेक्टर व् लेखक डॉ० भानु प्रताप सिंह ने बताया वे बचपन से ही सिक्के जमा करते हैं! और छत्तीसगढ़ का निवासी होने के कारण उनका विशेष ध्यान छत्तीसगढ़, प्राचीन दक्षिण कोसल के सिक्कों पर रहा है! उन्होंने बताया कि छत्तीसगढ़ के सिक्कों का इतिहास दुनिया के किसी भी प्राचीनतम सभ्यताओं के सिक्कों जितना ही समृद्ध है! डॉ० सिंह ने छत्तीसगढ़ के सिक्कों पर पी० एच० डी० व् डी० लिट् किया है !
उन्होंने आगे बताया कि छत्तीसगढ़ के सिक्कों में दुनिया के अन्य सिक्कों से अलग कुछ विशेषताएं हैं, जैसे मौर्यन पंचमार्ग सिक्कों में ब्राह्मी ‘म’ का अंकन, सिरुर व् बस्तर के विचित्र रिपौजी सिक्के आदि! कलुचारी सिक्कों में विभिन्न प्रतीकों का उपयोग जैसे गज़ाभिषेकित लक्ष्मी, हाथी पर आक्रमण करता हुआ सिंह, हनुमान आदि!
डॉ० सिंह ने आगे बताया यह फिल्म वृत्त चित्र न होकर अन्य फिल्मो से अलग, छत्तीसगढ़ के समृद्ध सांस्कृतिक विरासत व् मुद्रा विधा के इतिहास पर आधारित है! इस फिल्म में छत्तीसगढ़ के महत्वपूर्ण व् प्राचीन व् ऐतिहासिक स्थलों को उनके सांस्कृतिक और मुद्रा सम्बन्धी इतिहास के साथ फिल्मांकित किया गया है ! यह फिल्म छत्तीसगढ़ के उन राजवंशो, राजाओं पर भी रौशनी डालती है, जिन्होंने इस क्षेत्र में सातवी सदी ईसा पूर्व से राज्य किया था !
डॉक्टर से फिल्म निर्माता बने डॉ० भानु प्रताप सिंह
डॉ० भानु प्रताप सिंह पेशे से डॉक्टर हैं ! और रायपुर में अम्बेडकर हॉस्पिटल में क्षय रोग विभाग में कार्यरत हैं! सिक्कों के संग्रह के शौक के चलते उन्होंने प्राचीन भारतीय इतिहास में एम० ए० किया पश्चात् सिक्कों से सम्बंधित चार विषयों पर पी० एच० व् डी० लिट् किया ! उनके दो शोध प्रबंध और एक डी० लिट् दक्षिण कोसल (प्राचीन छत्तीसगढ़) के सिक्कों पर है! उनके सग्रह में सातवी सदी ईसा पूर्व से लेकर 17वीं सदी तक के दक्षिण कोसल के स्थानीय शासकों द्वारा जारी सिक्कों का विशाल संग्रह है ! साथ ही दक्षिण कोसल के स्थानीय शासकों द्वारा जारी सिक्कों पर कई लेख व् किताबें लिखी हैं !
आदित्य को भी है सिक्का संग्रह का शौक
फिल्म के निर्माता आदित्य प्रताप सिंह ने बताया कि वह बचपन से पिता डॉ० भानु प्रताप सिंह के संग्रहण पर ध्यान रखते आये हैं और वह स्वयं भी सिक्का संग्रहण में विशेष रूचि रखते हैं! छत्तीसगढ़ के सिक्कों की समृद्धि से दुनिया को अवगत कराने हेतु ही उनके मन में इस फिल्म को बनाने का विचार आया ! इस प्रोजेक्ट में उनके साथ दिल्ली से उनकी ब्लॉगर मित्र अस्मिता अरोरा भी साथ हैं!
