Hails from Noida, Priyanka Arya has always dreamt of dazzling on screen as an actor. Interestingly, she has been a part of big budget films, web series and been the face of 50+ ads so far. The actress, who has earlier studied film making and interned with a reputed production house for 8 months, went on to do small stints in films like Sui Dhaaga: Made In India, Munna Michael to name a few.

Talking about becoming an actor, Priyanka says, “It was always there on my mind but I was hesitant to speak about it. I feel I have a different body type unlike those stereotypical actresses but I am like an imperfect package. She jokingly added, I can kill anyone with my cuteness.

Reminiscing her childhood, she reveals, “I have always been a day dreamer. As a kid, when i saw Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, i wanted to play Sana Saeed’s role, who played the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji. That was actually a seeding thought to become an actor someday.”

Priyanka remembers the time when she started, “I participated in a contest for Big Bazaar and posed with the cut out of Shikhar Dhawan. Few days later while sitting in HT office, I got to know that I was chosen under top 16.”

“Once I was sitting at a cafe with a friend and someone was staring at me continuously and to my surprise he turned out to be a casting director who cast me for a CCD wall print ad. During my academics in Economics, I realised that it wasn’t my cup of tea,” she adds.

Go on… “While I was in Mumbai, one day a friend told me about an audition for a daily soap. Surprisingly, I never knew that a place like Aram Nagar existed in Mumbai known for auditions. Around that time, I got an opportunity to pen a show titled Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya for which I even got writing credits. Later, I shot an ad for Airtel directed by Ram Madhwani who further recommended me for a film called Call For Fun. However, the film didn’t work but i was noticed. I did What the Folks and through which i got Little Things 2. Later, i did small roles in Sui Dhaaga, Munna Micheal and I am currently shooting a big Punjabi film. I realised that from every small role I did led me to a bigger role.”

Spilling the beans on her upcoming projects, Priyanka says, “I have signed a contract with an OTT platform for a web series and also in talks for a feature film under a big banner.”

विजय गुप्ता और मोहिनी घोष की फिल्म़ “बब्बर” की शूटिंग मुंबई हो रहा है
भोजपुरी फिल्म “बब्बर” का रोमांटिक गाना विजय गुप्ता ( नवोदित ) और मोहिनी घोष के ऊपर आज मुंबई के फिल्म सिटी में फिल्माया जा रहा है जिस को डांस मास्टर कनु मुखर्जी बहुत अच्छे से फिल्म के गाने को मोहिनी और विजय के ऊपर फिल्मा रहे है । शहरी भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ एक आम आदमी की गर्जन वाली एक्शन थ्रिलर फिल्म “बब्बर” की अधिकांश शूटिंग लखनऊ में हुई है फिल्म के गाने आज कल मुंबई में किया जा रहा ही ।  फिल्म के निर्देशक चंदन उपाध्याय हैं। उनकी इससे पहले की सुपर हिट फिल्म “आवारा बलम” थी।

भोजपुरी फिल्म “बब्बर” के प्रचारक संजय भूषण पटियाला ने बताया कि ‘आवारा बलम’ की सफलता से उत्साहित अभिनेता अरविंद अकेला कल्लू इस फिल्म में अपने नए अवतार में नजर आएंगे। नए लुक और अंदाज के लिए वह खासी मेहनत कर रहे हैं। ने कहा कि इस फिल्म को आम गांव की चौधरी, चोली और गोली कहानियों से निकाल कर वह इसे वैश्विक रूप दे रहे हैं। इसमें एक ओर जहां शहरी करप्शन को बिलकुल नए अंदाज में उठाया गया है “बब्बर” फिल्म में विवाह गीत के साथ ही, आइटम नम्बर, रोमांटिक और इमोशनल सांग भी है। खलनायक संजय पाण्डेय फिल्म में डराने के साथ साथ गुदगुदाएंगे भी। फिल्म में तनुश्री और मोहिनी घोष नायिकाएं है। तनुश्री और अरविंद अकेला की जोड़ी “आवारा बलम” फिल्म में पहले ही हिट हो चुकी है। बृजेश त्रिपाठी भी अहम भूमिका में दिखेंगे। फिल्म का मधुर संगीत अविनाश झा घुंघरू ने दिया है। फिल्म के गाने मनोज मतलबी, मुन्ना दुबे, सुमित चंद्रवंशी, अजीत मंडल ने लिखे हैं। “बब्बर” की पटकथा भी चंदन उपाध्याय की है और डायलॉग्स राजेश पाण्डेय ने लिखे हैं। एक्शन फिल्म की जान है जिसे हीरा यादव निर्देशित किया है और छायांकन डी.के. शर्मा कर रहे है।

MUMBAI – 8th Jan 2019 – Dharmawiki, a unique resource for scripture based knowledge and a project by Virat Hindustan Sangam was launched in India at a national conference titled “Grand India Renaissance” in Mumbai, this Sunday.

Dharmawiki (www.dharmawiki.org) is a bonafide repository for Dharmic concepts and guidelines, which presents crisp yet comprehensive articles free from western interpretations, psychoanalysis, and extrapolations.

Styled in the lines of Wikipedia, Dharmawiki is a knowledge bank which attempts to dispel the myths created by western indoctrination and bring about a total renaissance in the field of Sashastriya Samalochana Paddati (Shashtra based thinking process).

Subramanian Swamy, Founder & President of Virat Hindustan Sangam speaking at the conference said, “We have the largest percentage of young people in the world and today, if we have to build renaissance, we have to build a national character and encourage our youth for a risk-taking ability. It is possible to bring back the glorious past of India if we are all united. Renaissance can only happen when you know your heritage and what you can do to save that heritage.”

Swamy also stressed on the need to relook at our text books, which incorporate proper Indian history rather than only concentrate on the times of British and Moghul rule over India.

Eminent personalities present at the event gave a strong narrative on reviving our economic, educational and social structural systems for a better and prosperous future of our country based on dharmic principles.

I am very proud to be part of this unique initiative of Dharmawiki,” added Dr. Ajay Sankhe, President of Virat Hindustan Sangam, Maharashtra.
