Pop stars Omar Gooding and Leslee Lewis join hands with The ATG & Kyyba Films to release the music video of their song Entourage...

Pop and Rap music is on roll and has created a legacy of its own in the music world. The latest to join the bandwagon are none other than popular singer Omar Gooding also known as ‘Big O’ and Colonial cousins singer Leslee Lewis with their pop single ‘Entourage’. Ashwin T Ganesan, popularly known as The ATG has engendered the music of the ‘Entourage’ and the song is produced by Kyyba Films.

Entourage is a fusion of Rap and Pop genres. The soundtrack of the song has a pumped up beat which will make the fans groove to it. 12 July 2021, Kolkata: Journalist-author Anshul Chaturvedi shared his views on his new book on Swami Vivekananda at a virtual session of The Write Circle Special, organised by Prabha Khaitan Foundation and presented by Shree Cement. Filmmaker and environmentalist, Padma Shri Nila Madhab Panda, engaged Anshul in a lively chat, which was followed by a Q&A session. The session was introduced by Rishma Gill of Ehsaas Woman of Chandigarh.

The book, titled The Vivekananda Handbook for Everyday Living, is an essential guide to apply the principles of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings to one’s everyday life. The book was officially launched on June 28, 2021.

“This is not a scholarly analysis of his religious views, but a narration of the practicality of his thoughts to our daily life. It is not an academic work – there are already many such works on him – but more of a travelogue where Vivekananda is the travel guide,” the author explained in response to a query from the audience. “I didn’t write this as a gyan (pontification) statement. The idea is that the book should be easy to comprehend and implement – not be read as an intimidating religious book primarily about the greatness of the person concerned.”

“The reason the book hasn’t come along that way is also because of the same philosophy which this individual (Swami Vivekananda) planted into my head very early when I was younger and more combative,” Anshul added. “I kept the book to what I have practically experienced – how I saw him through my eyes. That is it. In the last 100 years, many scholars have written about him. So I did not need to reiterate his greatness. I am not qualified to comment on his personality – his stature and intellect are immense. I am qualified to comment on how he has shaped my thinking,” he said.

Nila, who has made award-winning films like I Am Kalam, Kadvi Hawa and Kalira Atita, said that he has mostly come across bulky, multi-volume readings on the monk and was quite impressed with how this book distils and explains Vivekanada’s teachings in less than 200 pages. He added that the book was a mental and emotional booster in today’s difficult times.

The book, which is now available on Amazon, is priced at Rs 279 (kindle edition) and Rs 499 (paperback).

आरएसएस प्रमुख मोहन भागवत ने मुश्लिम विद्वान की पुस्तक “द मीटिंग ऑफ माइंड्स” का किया अनावरण

5 जुलाई 2021 गाजियाबाद : भारत में राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ अल्पसंख्यकों के खिलाफ है, या भारत में इस्लाम खतरे में है। इस देश में रहनेवाले अल्पसंख्यकों को इस भ्रम एवं गलत अफवाह से भयभीत होने एवं बचने की जरूरत है। मेरा निजी मानना है कि इस देश में हिंदू और मुस्लिम दोनों का डीएनए एक ही है और दोनों एक हीं इकाई हैं। कोलकाता के ‘प्रभा खेतान फाउंडेशन’ एवं ‘श्री सीमेंट’ के संयुक्त तत्वाधान में मुस्लिम राष्ट्रीय मंच के सहयोग से रविवार को गाजियाबाद में आयोजित ‘किताब’ मंच पर पुस्तक के अनावरण मौके पर डॉ. मोहन राव भागवत (सरसंघचालक, आरएसएस) ने यह बातें कहीं। उन्होंने डॉ. ख्वाजा इफ्तिखार अहमद की पुस्तक ‘द मीटिंग ऑफ माइंड्स: ए ब्रिजिंग इनिशिएटिव’ का अनावरण किया।

डॉ. भागवत ने कहा: जब लोग हिंदू-मुस्लिम एकता की आवश्यकता के बारे में हमे बोलते हैं, तो हम उन्हें कहते हैं कि हम तो पहले से ही एक हैं, हम अलग कहां हैं।

इस कार्यक्रम का सीधा प्रसारण किया गया था, जिसमें दुनिया भर के प्रमुख प्रोफेसर, विद्वान, छात्र और प्रतिष्ठित हस्तियां शामिल हुए थे। लेखक डॉ ख्वाजा इफ्तिखार अहमद, जो श्रद्धेय विद्वान, दार्शनिक और अकादमिक भी हैं। उन्ह‍ोंने कहा कि, यह एक ऐतिहासिक क्षण है क्योंकि बुद्धिजीवी एक बिंदु पर ही हमेशा मिलते हैं। इस पुस्तक को लिखने में मुझे ग्यारह महीने लगे, मेरी यह पुस्तक अर्थशास्त्र, राजनीति, भावनात्मक और कई अन्य पहलुओं का एक ईमानदार निचोड़ है, जो कल के भारत का भाग्य और हमारे देश के राष्ट्रीय हित को निर्धारित करेगा। हमें वार्ता की जरूरत है गतिरोध की नहीं, हिंदुओं और मुसलमानों के बीच विश्वास और भाईचारा होना चाहिए और हम मिलकर भारत को ‘विश्व गुरु’ बनाने में सक्षम हैं, और हम इस देश को विश्वगुरु बनाकर रहेंगे। उनकी यह पुस्तक अंग्रेजी, हिंदी और उर्दू भाषा में उपलब्ध है।

डॉ ख्वाजा ने कहा, ईमानदारी, अखंडता और विश्वसनीयता किसी भी रिश्ते की पहचान होती है। यही हमारे भविष्य की सभी कार्यों का पहल और मार्गदर्शन करेंगी। उन्होंने खेद व्यक्त किया कि आज की धर्मनिरपेक्ष राजनीति ने हमें मृतप्राय के समान कर दिया है। अगर हमारे बीच कोई संगठन नहीं है, तो कोई विचारधारा नहीं है, यदि कोई विचारधारा नहीं है, तो कोई विचारक नहीं है, यदि कोई विचारक नहीं है, तो कोई दिशा नहीं है।

ख्वाजा ने प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा, हम भाग्यशाली हैं कि हमें अब तक के सबसे निर्णायक प्रधानमंत्री में से एक मिला है।

वहीं इस सत्र मौके पर डॉ. मोहन भागवत ने कहा कि, राजनीतिक दल लोगों को एकजुट करने या विभाजन को गहरा करने में मदद करने के लिए उपकरण के रूप में कार्य नहीं कर सकते हैं, लेकिन इसे प्रभावित कर सकते हैं। भारत में बहुसंख्यकवादी भावना के जोर पकड़ने की आशंका को दूर करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि, जब अल्पसंख्यकों पर अत्याचार होता हैं, तो देखा जाता है कि इसके विरोध की आवाज बहुसंख्यकों से ही उठती है। अगर कोई कहता है कि मुसलमानों को भारत में नहीं रहना चाहिए तो वह हिंदू नहीं है।

श्री भागवत ने कथित गोरक्षकों द्वारा अल्पसंख्यकों के खिलाफ हिंसा का जिक्र करते हुए भागवत ने कहा कि, हालांकि भारत में गायों का सम्मान किया जाता है, लेकिन गोरक्षा के नाम पर हिंसा को माफ नहीं किया जा सकता है। कानून को अपना काम करना चाहिए। उन्हें बिना पक्षपात के जांच कर दोषियों को सजा देनी चाहिए। जो भी लिंचिंग में शामिल है वह हिंदू नहीं हैं।
