Global Music Video Dots World Bindi Day To Celebrate Womanhood...

And now it is World Bindi Day that was celebrated this Navratri. Karmanye Kreations is a US based media conglomerate and an initiative by a few NRIs with an objective dedicated to producing content on the culture and history of Indic civilization has come out with a music video about the importance of the Bindi.

The video featuring Dr Sonal Mansingh,  Mata Rajyalaxmi, Malini Awasthi, Aroona Bhatt, Anusha Srinivasan Iyer, Simran Kaur Mundi, Manjari Phadnis, Nyra Bannerjee, Ragini Dwivedi, Anchal Dwivedi, Kainaat Arora, Shibani Kashyap, Nivedita Basu, among others was put recently on the social media during Navratri. The Bindi Song has been sung by Shweta Pandit, Composed by Hriday Gattani with Lyrics by Shivangi Tewari. The video is produced by Karmanye Kreations and Shilpi Shrivastav with Music on Advait Music featuring women from various walks of life.

“The video will give a global appeal to all the women around the world to wear Bindi with pride as a mark of women empowerment. A letter to officially designate a World Bindi Day has been sent to the United Nations by WorldBindiDay.org. World Bindi Day concept was conceived by few NRIs last year, when it was decided that the pious day for this beautiful concept should be the start of Navratri, which emphasizes women empowerment and their importance in the society. Hence the first day of Navratri was formalized as World Bindi Day. To make it a global initiative and spread the word among millions of women around the globe, the idea to compose a music video was conceived by Karmanye Kreations, US. The song and the video were thus made to share with the world the significance of putting up a Bindi as a mark of each woman’s pride and a symbol of women empowerment,” says Anannt Srivastava of Karmanye Creations.

“A new Bindi song will be released next year too. Next year’s plan is to reach out to celebrities, social workers, eminent personalities from around the globe to support this initiative and also appear in the video,” adds Annant.

“I was attracted to the concept of coming up with a song. The song will show how the Bindi described the Indian woman. It perfectly explains the reason and pride behind wearing the bindi,” says Shweta who has sung the number.

“I think a woman’s beauty is enhanced by wearing a Bindi. I sometimes wear a Bindi on casual and western wear too. I have noticed it gives me a distinct persona. Other women should try it to see the difference,” says Anchal Dwivedi.

“I wear bindi as it is part of my Indian culture and tradition and I am  truly proud of it. It also activates the third eye – the pituitary gland – which is in the middle of the eyebrows!” says Shibani Kashyap. “My Bindi is the essence of  existence. Without it I am incomplete. It gives me strength and the power to stand up for right and against wrong. The bindi is the sixth chakra point and my third eye to view the world,” elaborates Anusha Srinivasan Iyer.

“The significance of beauty and strength in one bindi … the essence of womanhood culture and pride. I love to wear it each day with each outfit; it only makes the look better and stronger,” opines Ragini Dwivedi.

“My bindi not only enhances my beauty but also reminds me of the divine powers through my third eye. Bindi is the symbol of my Divya Drishti,” says Nyra Banerjee.

नारी सशक्तिकरण का प्रतीक है ‘बिंदी’ कर्मन्ये क्रिएशंस यूएस आधारित एक मीडिया समूह है। जिसने भारतीय सभ्यता में ‘बिंदी’ के महत्व समझने की एक पहल शुरू की है। कुछ एनआरआई भारतीयों ने महिलाओं के माथे की शोभा बढ़ाने वाली ‘बिंदी’ यानी कि डॉट के बारे में एक म्यूजिकल वीडियो के माध्यम से बताया है कि ये डॉट बिंदी भारतीय नारी का एक गहना भी है। ये म्यूजिक वीडियो बिंदी यूएस में बहुत पॉपुलर भी हो चुका है।

विश्व बिंदी दिवस की अवधारणा की कल्पना पिछले साल कुछ एनआरआई द्वारा की गई थी, जब यह निर्णय लिया गया था कि इस खूबसूरत अवधारणा के लिए पवित्र दिन नवरात्रि की शुरुआत होनी चाहिए, जो महिला सशक्तिकरण और समाज में उनके महत्व पर जोर देती है।

कर्मन्ये क्रिएशंस के अंनत श्रीवास्तव ने कहा कि  वर्ल्ड बिंदी डे की परिकल्पना पिछले वर्ष कुछ एनआरआई द्वारा की गई थी और तब ये निर्णय लिया गया था कि हर साल नवरात्रि के शुभावसर पर बिंदी दिवस को मनाया जाए, क्योंकि नवरात्रि के पवित्र दिन में ही इसकी महत्वता को समझाया जा सकता है। नवरात्रि के नौ दिन महिला सशक्तिकरण और समाज मे इनके महत्व को बखूबी समझा सकते हैं। कर्मन्ये क्रिएशंस का इस सांग को बनाने का मकसद केवल एक ही है कि बिंदी शब्द को पूरी दुनिया में उनको उसका दर्ज मिल जाए। और इसे हर महिला के साथ साझा किया जा सके। और महिलाओं की शान का प्रतीक है बिंदी। इसके अलावा अगले वर्ष हम और ज्यादा महिलाओं को लेकर कुछ और सांग रिलीज करेंगे। जिसमें इस बार की अपेक्षा और ज्यादा महिलाओं को फीचर किया जाएगा। इसमें कई फिल्मी सितारों, सोशल वर्करों और महत्वपूर्ण महिलाओं वीडियो सांग में लिया जाएगा ।

Noida: H.E. Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan has signed an order to declare 2021 as a “Year of Nizami Ganjavi” in Azerbaijan. The 880th anniversary of the great poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi will be celebrated in 2021.Today’s event is dedicated to this great poet as ‘love peace and unity through Art and Culture’ is the theme of our festival also,” said Sandeep Marwah President of festival and Chair for Indo Azerbaijan Film and Cultural Forum on the second day of 5^th Global Fashion and Design Week at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida addressing to the film, media & fashion fraternity from all over India.

“Our rich literature is well-known all over the world, and we can be rightly proud of our great poets. Nezāmi is considered the greatest romantic epic poet. I am happy that here in India we are celebrating the 880th anniversary of the birth of Nizami which goes well with great international event of art. I am thankful to ICMEI and Indo Azerbaijan Film and Cultural Forum for highlighting our literature with fashion today,” said H.E. Ashraf Shikhaliyev Ambassador of Azerbaijan to India in the capacity of Chief Guest appreciating the quality of work presented by designers.

An impressive show was presented by young designers Kratika Manglik & Liza Garg who took the inspiration and designed for Azerbaijan, Ayushi Shukla also finalized her country Azerbaijan, whereas Sharik also had deep interest in designing for Azerbaijan. Atul Raj opted for Bulgaria, Hirdya Goel went out of way to design for China, Jahanvi Gupta preferred fiji, Sakshi Agarwal took ideas from Morocco, Nandani loved to do for Cyprus and Sadaf Khan & Ayus Negi set for India mentored by AAFT School of Fashion and Design informed Ritu Lal Director AAFT School of Fashion and Design.

Later Sheetal Sharma Secretary Delhi Chapter of Public Relation Society of India, Richa Mehta renowned Model and Entrepreneur, Roli Tripathi President Indi Royal Queen and Shivani Sharma renowned Designer also spoke on the occasion. Sandeep Marwah presented festival memento to the dignities. A dairy designed by Ketan Sharma was released by the guests.
