There are many things Punjabi people are known for..one common thing in all of them that they are super crazy… one of the most cherished desire of them all is moving out of India, and especially landing up in Canada.. “kiddan patta nahi.. bas Canada jana hai..” That’s what almost every second Punjabi boy dreams of catching ‘Canada Di Flight’! This upcoming Punjabi film is a funny tale of three lazy, unfocused & good for nothing friends.. Who dream of landing straight into the land of Canada from their very own pind/village?

The film is produced by Maxwell Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., & Krishan Choudhary presentation, AM Films and Srishti Cine Entertainment and the producers are Sunil Pathare, Ajay Makkar, Deepak Chowdhary and Tejas Parmar. Mr. Roopesh Rai Sikand, with his ‘never say no’ attitude has directed the film taking the challenge to give a very new and fresh tadka to the taste of the Punjabi Movie by himself Choreographing 5songs in an outstanding way where he has merged Punjabi faith in Bollywood style in the Romance ,or the very new EDM style of music for Disco’s.

This is a very new and outstanding work as a Director would do all by himself.. Not only that, due to some unforeseen circumstances he also had to don the hat off the Action Director with the royalty by merging Bollywood styles with a new punch of Punjab so hope all of you my Friends would love and will surely appreciate the effort. Not to forget that this would not have been possible if the entire star cast would not have been a part of this wonderful journey.

SHORTCUT SAFAARI trails through BNHS with city kids‏...

Cinematographer turned Director Amitabha Singh, organized a fun trip for children from Nehru Nagar public school, Kanjur Marg East to explore Mumbai’s very own biodiversity and natural environment. Amitabha directed SHORTCUT SAFAARI with a view to reconnect children with their roots and showcasing the natural world amidst the humdrum and chaos of daily city life.

SHORTCUT SAFAARI has made its presence felt over various National and International children’s film festivals across the country and now the film has embarked upon a new journey to connect as many children as possible to nature through various innovative activities and screenings. With SHORTCUT SAFAARI, Amitabha consolidates his position in the children’s film category. He has earlier helmed the camera for CHILLAR PARTY, KHOSLA KA GHOSLA and India’s Oscar entry in 2014- THE GOOD ROAD.

Talking about the event, Amitabha Said, “The core message underlying the film is balance, trust, friendship, mutual respect, teamwork and gender parity. Without sounding preachy, I wanted to acquaint children with a value system which will help them go a long way. In fact, if you look at Jataka tales or folklore, they are beautiful stories and you would always remember the moral of the story. Similarly through my film I would want children to take away a few leanings.”

Singh added, “The Natural World is trying to speak to the manufactured world all the time but somehow, we seem to miss that call almost always. The result is quite evident, global warming, sea level rising, you see the season change getting erratic. Nature has started revolting in this own little way. I read a report in a magazine that twenty years from now Mumbai will be under water. We should really take cognizance of these little signs that nature is leaving for us and resort to course correction.”

The children enjoyed the nature trail and were almost surprised that a forest existed within the city limits of Mumbai.  City kids were joined by bloggers and social media influencers to experience a real nature trail. Topics on the surrounding flora and fauna were discussed alongside a tree adoption plan.

With the inclusion of bloggers and influencers, the makers of Shortcut Safaari are committed to reach out to as many urban children as possible and conduct short trips filled with activities that would connect them with the natural world outside their televisions and play stations.

Sachin Parikh: Attracting eyeballs worldwide‏

Actor Sachin Parikh – a known face in theater, television and ad world, is on a versatility route in Bollywood and rightly is attracting good eyeballs. The talented award winning actor’s big screen innings started with Sunny Deol starrer KAAFILA in 2007 and the actor is set to showcase his versatility quotient in his forthcoming ISHQ FOREVER, LOVESHHUDA and ALIGARH.

Sachin who shared screen with the perfectionist Aamir Khan in PK is optimistic about his roles in LOVESHHUDA – playing Tisca Chopra’s husband having an interesting shade to his character that moves with the plot. Whereas in ISHQ FOREVER, Sachin plays a crucial role in the film. Both ISHQ FOREVER, LOVESHHUDA are slated to release this Friday and interestingly Sachin is taking this as a plus and not bothered about the audience getting divided.

Sachin says, “If I was playing the lead then this doubt may have come to my mind, but I am happy to see that both ISHQ FOREVER, LOVESHHUDA have different range and shades of me as an actor, so the audience will be watching me in different roles in same day and probably in the same theatre but different screens”.

Sachin is an actor who thrives for a better role which helps in moving the story forward and not just an addition to the list of actors in a movie. This is the prime reason why he agreed to play senior journalist to Rajkummar Rao in Hansal Mehta’s ALIGARH even though Mano Manoj Bajpai and Rajkummar are in lead.

Sachin’s hope to bring in good quality roles with his range and versatility has began with an international note. Sachin is set to spread his wings as an actor in an Indo Swedish production titled “THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HANDS IN DELHI”.
